Act 6 Nerfs are not live with the new update [Merged Thread]

The announcement says these are the final act 6 adjustments. The dev diary says path fights in 6.1 and 6.2 will be adjusted. I delayed exploration to further deepen my roster, believing there was little point in rushing to explore because changes were coming. Did I miss something?

Yes, they were already nerfed in previous updates.
The attack values are lower

6.1 doesn't need any nerf. It's pretty easy

But in 6.2 there are a lot of BS fights that they need to change

Where is the annoucement for the 6.1/6.2 attack value changes? I’ve only seen 6.3/6.4 nerfs for attack values besides specific fights in 6.2 and 6.1.

Crossbones was nerfed and Mordo, sinister, and champion were all nerfed as well. That counts as nerfs to 6.1 and 6.2. Have a nice day.

That still isn’t what was announced. It specifically says path fights will be scaled.

Also, I’d argue that crossbones is harder now. Omega Red does less damage to him and corvus (who would’ve healed from willpower) is no longer a counter at all. Colossus has also gone from being viable to not.

They only nerfed champion because if I can complete 6.1 and 6.2, anyone can.

So I ranked 5 my Colossus to use him against Crossbones as he can deal with Biohazard. But them changing it to a fun and interactive 'Poison' makes my first rank 5 not worth it.

There's nothing that would make an R5 Colossus not worth it.

I completed them too, but I’ve spent months expecting the entire map to be scaled down, because that’s what was announced.

Also curious of this. Have been waiting on this nerf before exploring. If it’s not going to happen then I’ll go ahead and do it, but would hate to do it and suddenly have it drop next month. Some clarification would be nice

It’s troubling that Kabam would put this in a dev diary, change it, and not acknowledge their new course.

I would really like some sort of clarification or acknowledgement from Kabam. Are changes officially over? Why did they announce changes to all chapters but only change two?

The title of the section (see the first post) is “Reducing attack values across the entire act.” The first bullet point says path values in 6.3, 6.2 and 6.1 will be scaled down according to the 6.4 reduction. The next one says boss fights. No path values have changed in 6.1 or 6.2. No boss values have changed (unless Champion was changed) in 6.1 or 6.2.

The post didn’t say it was being evaluated. It said it was happening. It kinda baffles me that people are just totally cool with them taking people’s money while they promise things they don’t deliver on.

I agree with the OP. Even though, i'm done exploring 6.1 and 6.2, if kabam told their customers they were scaling down attack values for all 6.1 and 6.2 then they should keep their word.

I feel like these are fair questions that we deserve answers to:

Are there really no further changes coming to 6.1 and 6.2?

When and how was that decided?

Why wasn’t the player base notified when Kabam decided to divert from the roadmap?

And here’s a concern I have - Throne Breaker requires a full t5cc. It’s possible that it will have Black Friday offers better than Cavalier. Many summoners waited to explore 6.1 and 6.2 for this nerf to take effect, not expecting a new progression-based title. (I don’t think this was in the roadmap?) Are we going to see a flurry of t5CC cash offers to prey on players striving for that title on a short 2-month deadline? That would be pretty foul.

I cleared 6.2 in March or April. I’m not worried about the difficulty per se, but I spent 3 months waiting for a nerf that was announced and then canceled without acknowledgement. If the announcement had been that a nerf was only coming to 6.3 and 6.4, I would have used the summer to explore 6.1 and 6.2 and be closer to a full t5cc right now, which is suddenly more valuable due to the new title.
