Is awakening Hulkbuster worth it?

I have a 5 star rank 4 hulkbuster and a tech awakening gem, I know he isn’t the best tech champion, like ghost, warlock and guillotine 2099, but I don’t have any of those. So should I wait till I get one of those or just awaken him?

It's only my opinion... Because i awakened him... His awaken ability help me a lot in act 5... And your attack rating will increase while regeneration.... So it's helps you at last minute in a fight.... But it's up to you.... But consider gully 2099 too... She's combo dependent champ... So you need combo shield too... But only if you can maintain your combo in every fight... LOL...

Warlock doesn't need awakening.Moreover he doesn't deserve awakening.

Hulkbuster has the second best tech awakening, behind Ghost and maybe guardian (but HB>guardian anyways). go for it

Ghost benefits most from the awakening.As for guillotine the combo shield is quite helpful.
Warlock's awakening gives him a pathetic degen which doesn't matter much.

1. Because she's a flipping BEAST!

2. She gets a bigger safety net and can tank basic attacks

3. What about ghost? You said none of the champions deserve awakening apart from warlock, but ghosts awakened ability is much better than warlocks.

Even though G2099 doesn't need the awakening, I would awaken her over Hulkbuster any day.

For all of you guys info gully will not activate combobsheild on every hit ...only it will get a smallpercantage chance to activate...that means u will definitly lose combo 3 in 4 times

My Guilly's awakened ability has saved me SO many times even at sig 40. In addition, you can take a special to the face with it active, and come out with only about 20% health lost. The safeguard doesn't just apply to basic attacks, but also to special 1 and 2. At max sig, she can reliably run through long content like LoL without needing Nick Fury evade synergy.
