I’m sorry but these recent changes are bad for the game. There is zero scenario here where these are treated as fun scenarios, and most can be deathmatches.

Why were these changes made? To annoy progressing players? To annoy veterans?

There was nothing wrong with the infinite streak in the arena.

im using Rank 3 5 stars champs in the basic 5 star arena and the opponents are all Rank 5/65 5 stars, i thought arena suposed to be easier.Im having to fight maxout havoks, NF, Hyperion, Domino etc...

I only briefly scanned the mail since I don't really do arena, but didn't it say the changes are upcoming and not in game yet?

Agreed, to an extent. 4* feature starting at fight 10 where I'd normally get Kang/Thanos team, got player teams. Only kang team was 15, when I used 2 r5s and a r4 5*. 16-20, using teams pi around 25k, got fights at minimum 33k. Last fight I had before coming here was a team of 3 r3 5*, fought team of r5s. All series were won, but normally that last fight would have been even to slightly stronger.

If you cant beat r5s with r3s then maybe your not as good as you think lol.

From my experience, the first 20 fights are definitely easier, but after that i’m just getting deathmatched with mostly everyone other than r5 5 stars. Yeah, the deathmatches aren’t as bad as before, however the fact that arena has gotten harder and more time consuming is completely the opposite of what the intended goal was for making arena easier. This change is definitely worse than how it was before.

I agree, featured 5 star is the same, 5-65s are beatable but time consuming, you don’t grind arena to spend 5 minutes on a match.

Seems normal to me in terms of the match-ups, and the AI is performing much better.

Not in the Infinite. As per the Announcement, the chance of encountering Opponents twice the size of your PI has been reduced, but it can happen. The question is, if this is an isolated occurrence, or a result of the new change. If they're more common, then something is off.

Yeah you only get 5/65 champs in featured 5 star arena, even after round 21, hope this is not intended.

4* Featured is much harder. No more Kang / Thanos teams even with teams of 4/55s x2 5/65 x1.

20+ infinite streak is much harder. 4/40s x3 are matched against 25-30k PI player teams - doable but much harder.

AI is improved so I guess that's a plus.

Kabam probably just redefined with death matches mean.... a 12k team matched up against a 25k in my books is a death match.

Im on streak 33 and only R5 so far, is taking more time and is making me pay atention so i dont get rekt by dominos

Yeah, the issue here is that deathmatches are occurring more than they should. Compared to yesterday using the same teams, the matches were a lot more easier than today

I’m only doing the 4* basic and it’s much harder from round 5.

I’m pretty rubbish at this game, but this was the only part I really enjoyed and was relatively good at. It’s ruined it for me. I wish we could go back to how it was yesterday

I agree, if the intended purpose of this change was to make the arena grind easier they might as well change it to how it was yesterday

I've just completed my first round of 5* featured arena(40 rounds), and i noticed clearly that it was harder than previous ones.

Normaly after round 20, you get atleast 1 team that has a lower team rating than you.
But both R5/65 teams and R4/55 the lowest team rating was either equal or higher.

A team of R3/45 was not consider a "safe team" anymore. Most of the matchup consisted of teams that had a either a 1.5x team rating or 2x.

6* Arena fights were all over the place. Most mathcup were fair. Altough a lot higher than usual.

This change is not made only for those that are "in the know" about the Infinite Streak. We promised to lower the number of deathmatches, and we've done just that. This is a major improvement for all players, especially those that are new to the Arena.

It's great below 15 wins, horrible after 15.
So are we supposed to lose on purpose after 20 wins, get to 5 wins, and run our 5 and 6 stars, and reset at 15?

This fixes nothing, new players already had to do this.

People got what the asked for, not matching up against max ranked champions with lower ranked champions. Unfortunately this means that you now match with champions just below max rank, always unless using low ranked champions. This so far is time consuming and annoying, maybe that will change but for now it isn’t favorable or welcomed.

No, you didn’t. Deathmatches are occurring more than usual. I know what you guys are planning on saying, “the deathmatches are easier now” and yes that’s true, however it is taking us much longer to do our arena runs compared to yesterday. If the point was to make it easier for us, you guys failed.

I think the issue that people are seeing is an increase in double PI, as opposed to a decrease. Just waiting to see if it will pass, or if it's more common.

Exactly. For me now, after the 15º match, only appear teams of max 5* r5.
