Whats wrong with limbo side quest [NOT BUG]

I should of got a Key. I got one yesterday and now i should get one today but all i got was... how does this effect the gated side quest. And are these shards farmable? Seen a few stories of people Farming some resources

    Keys are given at the last fight



    Check your inventory and am sure it will be there

    Shards given out once per day at quest end screen. Souls given out per fight as many times as you want. Keys given out on last fight as many times as you want.

    How do you know if you have gotten the shards for that day without having to redo the entire quest?

    When you enter the quest the path will be solid line instead of a dotted one.
