I’m fine with difficulty. Nothing there about difficult content. Having a restriction on a champ of a rarity isn’t boosting difficulty. I said they should tie it to harder content requirements verse the r3 gate if you read it.
They tie this to boosted difficulty that you complete Im happy. Tied it to wasting resources or buying something for getting lucky.
It should be about skill and difficult content is my point
See, you say its all about spending and the game is squeezing the players and progress in the game is painful, but none of that is the fault of the game. Really, your problem is the game monetizes impatience: it tells people you'll progress at a certain rate, and if you grind a lot in the game you can accelerate that a lot, and if you spend you can accelerate that even more. If you're progressing slower than you want, you can grind or you can spend. But you aren't going to automatically get the progress speed you want doing only whatever you want however you want.
The question is where you draw the line. How fast do you make it so people don't get too overwhelmed, and how slow do you make it so people don't get trivially bored. Whatever point the game picks, there will always be people who think it is too slow to be tolerable for them, and also people who think it is too fast to be meaningful to them. We hope the game doesn't pick too far of an extreme in either direction.
If you're saying that six months of normal gameplay to get the highest progression title in the game is too much, then I think you're making the right decision quitting. But to be clear, you're quitting because your need to be at the top of the game is greater than your motivation to go after it and your patience to wait for a relatively short period of time and have it just come to you naturally. The game is not to blame for that, and the vast majority of the players of the game don't have that attitude and won't ever follow you out the door for that reason.
This game only exists because 99% of the playerbase don't need to be in the top 1% of the playerbase. And most of the top 1% play the game *because* it is hard to be one of the top 1%, and that's why they push to become one. And those are the people the game most needs to keep: those who are willing to go at their own pace and won't get frustrated by not being among the best, and those who are willing to do whatever it takes to be among the best and won't complain too much about the treadmill that separates them from the rest.
I have the gold. I have the catalysts. What i don’t have is a tech 6* I want to rank. I have a TON of 6* champs I would LOVE to r3. What I don’t have is the materials.
Because of that, tying title progression to having luck enough to pull the desired 6* AND enough luck left over to score the right catalysts feels punitive.
So here I am. Plotting out my Act 6 exploration hoping I have better t5cc luck but doubting it will change.
