I hadn’t even heard of this game during the 12.0 update. I heard it was a very controversial thing and lots of the player base quit. Can someone explain to me what it was and what happened?

    Nerfed almost everyone good (Thor, Doctor Strange, Switch, etc) and made lots of people made.

    It was a complete MCOC overhaul. Masteries were changed, characters were nerfed, flat stats were introduced, gameplay feel was reworked, a lot of stuff happened after it.

    One item I recall (although it may be selective memory) is that there were several offers for good $$$ came out just before the 12.0 overhaul. Most players who spent on them used them for the very champs who were specific targets for neutering by 12.0.

    That’s a major reason players brought out the pitchforks.
