    Gwen is actually a Swiss army knife imo. Really solid damage after a couple specials, evade counter, unstoppable counter, power control, paralyze off the Sp2 which let's you beat into the opponent and barely giving them any power, tons of burst damage after the Sp3, and my personal favorite, guaranteed to evade unblockable specials. She's great.

    Gladiator Hulk
    I really like my Rulk since I do not have him. But I have seen my wife play with her 5* Gulk. And he looks amazing.
    He allows for quite a few mistakes before you actually die.
    But if you are a more skilled player I`d go with spidergwen.
