**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Why would an alliance want to lose a war on purpose ?

We are fighting another alliance and while we are Silver 2 and they are Silver 1strength wise they are almost the same as us. But for some reason they just put in low level four stars and even three stars in defense . I don’t get it . Why would they want to lose?

Also there’s minimal 5* shards even for losing, so it’s possible they’re just entering war for that. Not sure how it affects war rating though considering how Kabam has changed matchmaking

We do it for the loyalty of for those that wanna practice a certain fight ... defense is less then normal ... attack usually either a Bosh rush - or whatever is needed to practice that fight the best way as possible (t4 so locked war rating )

Tanking. All Ratings should be frozen. Not just T1-5.

It could be tanking. Of course it could be any number of other reasons too. Perhaps they would just prefer to use their champs for content. Maybe it's just to practice. Or get some shards. I mean it could be anything. Automatically presuming nefarious motives if a bit presumptuous don't you think?

I do agree though that war rating should be frozen at all levels. No reason not to really.

What happens in the off-season stays in the off-season. Or at least it should.

Totally agree. I find the result is the Top Tiers are protected from it, and everything under is collateral. Albeit at half the rate. I don't think that's the intention. It just happens to be the effect.

Thats because Tier 1-5 have global nodes like the mostly loved stubborn and flow. Tier 6 and below do not have to face global nodes. and Tier 1-5 alliances have their war rating locked in during OFF-Season only.

What Nodes they face have nothing to do with it. The bottom line is Tiers 1-5 are protected from manipulation, and everything else is not.
