I know warlock is good but how good really?
Generic?
R5?
Where can I use Warlock in act6 that can't be done by someone else? I don't have many R5's because resources are scarce but if warlock is good for plenty of random fights then I'm happy to cut sick, if warlock is a niche champ then I'd stop at r4.
Please tell me where/how to use warlock that can't be done by aegon, quake, hype, mojo, ghost or corvus?
I stopped at cavalier, exploration is a long way off.

Anti-Healing
Warlock has excellent anti-healing abilities. His Infection Passive Heal Blocks the Opponent, and since it’s Passive it’ll work even when the Opponent is immune to Debuffs. On top of that, every time the Opponent tries to heal while infected, they’ll drain some of their Power, and take damage if Warlock has his Signature ability.
Power Control
Even against Opponents who don’t heal, Warlock is good at controlling the Opponent’s Power. After stacking up an Infection or two, his Special Attack 1 drains a solid chunk of the Opponent’s Power, and his Special Attack 3 drains all of it, in addition to burning it and dealing damage via his Signature ability.
Passive:
Immune to Bleed, Poison, Coldsnap, and Frostbite.
His durable Technarch form grants Warlock a permanent Armor Up Buff, increasing Armor Rating by +666.67. If this Buff is removed for any reason, it will refresh itself after 10 second(s).
While this Buff is active, Opponent’s Special Attacks cannot be Critical.

None of the champions you mentioned have Heal Block or Power Control mechanics built into their kit, so he will be incredibly useful against champs that Regen (Wolverine) or gain a lot of Power (Hyperion).
None of the champions you mentioned have natural Bleed, Coldsnap or Frostbite immunity. Natural Bleed immunity will help you fight nodes that could make you bleed like Caltrops, Coldsnap will help you against Iceman.
Also, the Armour Up buff makes him an excellent Havok counter, because the Plasma won't detonate as long as it's active.
Super R5 worthy like this:
An ultimate swiss army knife of champion having truckload of utility. Not a niche champ. He is a mainstay champ who always remains in your team once added.
Act 6,aw,aq,incursions use in all places.
The biggest utility he has is the passive heal block which is so valuable.
Armor breaks, bleeds,shocks and power burn and regen on sp3.
Triple immunities
Any node that has regen is completely neutered by warlock. Masochism,buffet,vigor,selective timestream,lionheart,arc overload
Top havok, iceman counter
I am at 6.3 and he was my mvp for 6.1.1 sabretooth, 6.1.5 crossbones, 6.2.2 sinister
Many paths in 6.2 have annoying nodes that warlock is a counter for.
Alongside ghost you could look to clear v3 and get the r5 gem.
