I don't know if this is intended to happen but as you can see KM is taking damage form the heat charges even though Rulk didnt deal any damage in the hit due to indestructible. (This is the uncollected eq boss)

    I think Killmonger's indestructible functions more like Protection than actual indestructible. I have heard that Rhulk bypasses protection with the extra physical damage from heat charges so maybe that's why KM takes damage from it.
    Play Mysterio against KM, if his reflection gas bypasses the indestructible then it's actually Protection not a real indestructible

    His indestructible allows him to ignore damage from attacks. Other sort of damage will still work under it
