This is the same devs strategic as the 5* Scarlet Witch.
Fun fact is that a 5* SW can beat more content than a 4* SW, due to bigger damage output, higher regen and bigger health pool to tank block damage.
On the other hand a 6* Quake would be able to break the exact same content as the 5* version does, as her health pool doesn’t bother a good Quake player, since block damage will be zero or minimal at it’s worst.
The only difference would be that the 6* version would break content slightly faster, due to higher attack rating.
No point on not releasing her as 6*, as well as other old missing champs.
That would also contribute to improve the 6* champs pool quality, and unfortunately result in less salty pulls 🙂

It absolutely would matter though bc soon the 5* will just time out against defenders in war and AQ basically removing her from being a viable option.

I also would bank on getting to the same point with 5*s that we are with 4*s now and them being completely gated out of being used in story content as well which removes her there. I'd say she's pretty near the end of her lifespan of actually being in the meta for anything relevant.

Forgot to mention that AW is the only area that would be affected, you are right there.
Kabam could solve this problem by adding a global true strike node, and to be honest that should have happened long time ago, since high tier alliance wars, are shaking too much 😂

X FOR DOUBT. There would be the same if not more salty pulls from people trying to get Quake. Then we get the whole pool is too large or other arguments for editing the pool.
