In all honesty, the only mechanic that I see doing something useful is the cruelty. That really shouldn’t be that way.

Yeah but it's not built in which seems to be a point of contention.
Edit: I guess I should have stated that explicitly in the poll. Anyway ..

He mostly just feels confusing and relatively clunky to play imo.

I feel, if he had more utility, it would make him better, but his numbers are pretty pathetic, especially with all the cruelties and fury.

Conclusion: his damage output is significantly improved after buffed, but it’s still underwhelming....

If this was a rank 5 5* you played him very very wrong
Then suggest the play style bro its first day, not like all of us are gonna know how to use him

From I've seen on CCPs and from other's opinions, I made a misconception i my mind that DDHK is a bad character still after overhaul, but when i tried him myself as my 3 star high six one, i found him quite good as i don't suicides and after a minute's ramp up, he was hitting casual 4-5K mediums and 2-3K lights which were real good for a 3 star, also he was really consistent with his crits as he had about 3 to 4 furies and cruelties up.

I also don't think people are able to figure out his ideal or even consistent rotation. Anyway, I used this rotation.
i used MLLLM combo until 20 hits to get rage, then parried and threw heavy. Rinse and repeat until SP3, then get Righteous Wraith, the again used MLLLM till 20 hits and heavy to keep up cruelties and furies till SP2 then throw SP2, and repeat the entire cycle.

Giving him some way to refresh his buffs would probably go a long way too. As of now you have him designed with lots of little buffs that could stack up nicely, if they lasted longer or he had a refresh mechanic.

    16+ hits= 65% AAR + 35% Disorient = Not 100% ??

His combo was broken in that you couldn't weave in a Special Attack properly because of his animations.

Might as well add that a bunch of old champions are suicide friendly because their kits largely don't go to in depth into sps and it's kinda just split across the board.

I don't run suicides so I wouldn't know, but DD is not as bad as people are making him to be, not even close, he has solid utility and his damage is way above average.
I don't know what you guys are doing differently but DD is no dud

Silver surfer for example has above average damge and comparing his to DD damge, DD damge isn't even close to average
If that's what you feel who am I to change your opinion?, I have played around with him a lot and for me his damage is not bad, agreed not OP but bad?, nah fam, my 5* r3 was taking winter soldier in 300 hits, above average if you ask me.
Feel free to stick to your opinion though, I will stick to mine, taking mine to r5 in the nearest future.

The skill class so far has 2 great champions: Aegon and Nick Fury.
It has a specialist: Blade (arguably also Stealthy for his slow, but he’s more versatile).
It has great versatile champions: Falcon, Stealthy, Hit-Monkey, Elsa.
It has some fun champs, that are one utility piece away from glory: Black Widow (DO), Gwenpool, Masacre, Squirrel Girl.

And then there’s the champs that are so mediocre either in the damage or utility department, that there is no point in choosing them over the above mentioned.

*4 great skill champs, Stealthy and Hit-Monkey are definetely great champions all round.

300 hits at r3 to take down WS is very, very bad. For reference, Havok takes 160, Hit Monkey 200, Storm X 150, Magneto 55, Colossus 60, Sym Supreme 220, Guardian 190, Elsa Bloodstone 210, Namor 140, Silver Surfer 180.

I put them in versatile because they each have at least one flaw. For example, Stealthy relies on debuffs and has a low block proficiency. They are great, just not Aegon, Nick Fury level great.

I've given him a few good tries and I still haven't seeing him done nothing to impressive but if anyone has figured out a good rotation plz let me know

@Ghost12 First use MLLLM combo until 20 hits to get rage then throw heavy to get cruelty anr to convert rage to fury, repeat it till SP3 to get righteous wrath, after that again do MLLLM combo till 20 hits and heavy until you SP2 then throw SP2 and repeat the entire cycle.

i was able to get 3-4 cruelties and furies stacks consistently using this rotation, and my 3 star DDHK was hitting 3-4.5K mediums crits and 2-3K light crits consistently.
You sir are a genius can't wait to try this

He has a comparable dps to Elsa Bloodstone and she has a religious cult following. So what's all the whining about?

@magnus_xix Where is your data?? I have both at r5 as 5*s and I can say they are DEFINITELY not even close in DPS. She beats him in nearly every way possible. Don’t spread false data.

6* rank 3 fully boosted, suicide masteries and dead nick fury:

5* rank 5 no boosts, no suicides and no meaningful attack synergies took down ROL Captain marvel in roughly 2:20 (with ideal rotation), Winter soldier in 2:45 (not ideal rotation) and Rhino in 2:15. From Seatin's r5 game play.

I'm not spreading false data, you need to check your numbers again 👍 @TripleB

From a class that considered as the weakest in game I can easily name like 7 charcters who's better than him, lol even falcon is better

"even falcon" as if thats a bad thing.
