Yes, you literally can freeze ice. Ice forms are thirty-two degrees Fahrenheit or zero degrees Celsius. Absolute zero, or the temperature at which all molecular motion ceases, is *substantially* below this point. Nothing can survive it because even atomic motion ceases. DNA3000’s point is that Iceman is cold, but he’s not the coldest, and can therefore be brought to a colder level that he cannot scale with.
You know Iceman’s signature ability is named Absolute Zero, right?
Whoever can’t see Iceman should be coldsnap/frostbite immune is plain stupid.
Why is HT then incinerate immune?
Same logic can apply here more easily, since technically you can always achieve a higher temperature than any, but you can’t achieve lower than the Absolute Zero.
🤦‍♂️Scientifically he shouldnt be immune to coldsnap. DNA is correct, but say what you like.
Actually no have you guys obviously don't know iceman power I suggest doing research b4 you say something 🙄 that you don't know

Silver Surfer- Bleed immunity because his skin is made of a durable "metallic" material

Dormmamu- Incinerate immunity because he is a being of pure mystical energy

BPCW- Incinerate and Coldsnap immunity, bleed resistance due to the vibranium suit

    This.

    Scientifically, what?
You can’t go below Absolute Zero (-459.67°F, -273℃, or 0 Kelvin). That’s SCIENTIFICALLY the limit. Saying Iceman shouldn’t be coldsnap immune while Torch can be incinerate immune with DNA3000’s argument is just... ugh. The heat that Torch produces can be surpassed but you can’t go below Absolute Zero. That’s thermodynamics.

It’s alright to defend that some champions are not immune to balance the game. I don’t mind that. But defending something with long paragraphs just to justify it is just delusional. It’s just long but not always concise.
yah but fire hot and if I can't understand I should be able to make comparisons that come out of my behind

For those who say Surfer should be immune to bleed because he has metallic skin, then he should be subject to be magnetized by Magneto.

Scientifically speaking, yes I agree with Wicket that he shouldn't be coldsnap/frostbite immune....

.... the problem is that this is a game, based on an universe ( comic/ MCU) that notoriously violates scientific laws whenever it's convenient and adhered to them too whenever it serves a purpose to do so. Moreover, the Contest itself is a world created by the collector with its own sets of rules ( For example the class advantage mechanic : in what world would someone like Hawkeye even stand a chance or have an advantage over Hulk... just because he is Skill?)

Add all this to the fact that there's already plenty of champs in the game that ARE coldsnap/frostbite immune even if scientifically they SHOULDN'T be. Case in point: Sabretooth and Sasquatch... so ok, sure, they are immune to it because they have a thick furry hide, fine... bit Iceman has an ICE hide for crying out loud! Thus if the game is gonna break science rules, then at least break them in a consistent manner. Hence, Iceman should be immune too.

Since Groot and King Groot are too powerful in the game and made out of wood, they should have a 200% incinerate vulnerability

Sunspot need coldsnap immunity cuz he is immune to coldsnap immune in the comics. He can survive in space in all fairness. Second he can actually absorb energy and not just fire. So atleast he should get energy resistance and flares.

Magneto and juggernaut should immune to inverted controls due to the anti psychic abilities of their helmets.

Apocalypse should be Immune to Cable's Degeneration since he's already Infected with it and has Total Control over the Virus thanks to his Molecular Control on his Body, fun fact Cable going back in time and infecting Apocalypse with the Virus is what gave him the Ability to access Celestial Technology and reach the level of Power he has today... Real nice job there Cable...

Also before anyone that doesn't know says otherwise, Cable's Degen is special and is considered The Techno-Organic Virus and All Robot Champions are already Immune to it because of that. So it would just continue that nice Easter Egg if Apocalypse was also Immune to it.

Funny enough Groot's Race is actually quite Fire Resistant in the Comics... Unless that was specifically Groot, can't remember.

Human torch should be coldsnap immune only when he is in Nova form like when IMIW is immune only when he has armor. Iceman could also have a similar mechanic that he becomes coldsnap immune when he is awakened and has ice armor similar to Red hulk gaining incinerate resistance when awakened. Not the most popular opinions, but I am not taking this from comics, just in terms of game mechanics.

Well not immune exactly, but unaffected.
I’m only half serious. It’s definitely weird though to Quake Air-Walker while he’s, well, walking on air

Continuing the Apocalypse train, I think a good idea for a Synergy would be with Classic Thor to reference their few battle they've had in the comics.
Call it Deific Rivalry, Apocalypse's Molecular Control Ability now includes Shock Damage and Thor Classic when using a Heavy Attack will remove 1 Existing Armor Break on the Opponent in exchange for an Armor Shatter of Equal Potency with a 15 Second Duration.
Meaning Apocalypse could gain Shock Immunity after taking enough Shock Damage, and Thor Classic would gain Utility against Robots while not effecting his great Armor Break Damage against others.
