Scientifically, what?
You can’t go below Absolute Zero (-459.67°F, -273℃, or 0 Kelvin). That’s SCIENTIFICALLY the limit. Saying Iceman shouldn’t be coldsnap immune while Torch can be incinerate immune with DNA3000’s argument is just... ugh. The heat that Torch produces can be surpassed but you can’t go below Absolute Zero. That’s thermodynamics.
It’s alright to defend that some champions are not immune to balance the game. I don’t mind that. But defending something with long paragraphs just to justify it is just delusional. It’s just long but not always concise.
Dormmamu- Incinerate immunity because he is a being of pure mystical energy
BPCW- Incinerate and Coldsnap immunity, bleed resistance due to the vibranium suit
Scientifically speaking, yes I agree with Wicket that he shouldn't be coldsnap/frostbite immune....
.... the problem is that this is a game, based on an universe ( comic/ MCU) that notoriously violates scientific laws whenever it's convenient and adhered to them too whenever it serves a purpose to do so. Moreover, the Contest itself is a world created by the collector with its own sets of rules ( For example the class advantage mechanic : in what world would someone like Hawkeye even stand a chance or have an advantage over Hulk... just because he is Skill?)
Add all this to the fact that there's already plenty of champs in the game that ARE coldsnap/frostbite immune even if scientifically they SHOULDN'T be. Case in point: Sabretooth and Sasquatch... so ok, sure, they are immune to it because they have a thick furry hide, fine... bit Iceman has an ICE hide for crying out loud! Thus if the game is gonna break science rules, then at least break them in a consistent manner. Hence, Iceman should be immune too.
Also before anyone that doesn't know says otherwise, Cable's Degen is special and is considered The Techno-Organic Virus and All Robot Champions are already Immune to it because of that. So it would just continue that nice Easter Egg if Apocalypse was also Immune to it.
I’m only half serious. It’s definitely weird though to Quake Air-Walker while he’s, well, walking on air
Call it Deific Rivalry, Apocalypse's Molecular Control Ability now includes Shock Damage and Thor Classic when using a Heavy Attack will remove 1 Existing Armor Break on the Opponent in exchange for an Armor Shatter of Equal Potency with a 15 Second Duration.
Meaning Apocalypse could gain Shock Immunity after taking enough Shock Damage, and Thor Classic would gain Utility against Robots while not effecting his great Armor Break Damage against others.
