Guardian synergy

So I was wondering if and how Guardian’s BP synergy would stack at all. The synergy does specify that it doesn’t stack with duplicate synergies, but I wasn’t sure how it applied to the synergy. Of course it is obvious with other synergies, but Giardian somehow feels different.

For example: 3* provides 500 BP to the team and 4* provides 750 BP. When on the team, would putting both provide 1250 BP (500 + 750) total or just 750 BP?

I believe it just uses the highest star value for the synergy, same with Nick Fury’s 10% damage boost.
  • Why is Guardian even allowed to have a Synergy (and just has to be him, no using a 2nd slot for a certain synergy partner) that gives the team such a HUGE amount of Block Prof.

When they took away previous high BlockProf teams (Strange, Witch, Storm, or whomever they were), they only added back in a relatively meager BlockProf synergies of LukeCage/IronFist (or to lesser degree with SheHulk).

But this B.P. of 500 (if 3*) or 750 (for 4* or up) totally blows the meager Cage/Fist amount out of the water, and you only need to take up 1 slot on the team.

Yes, the Diminishing Returns system has downplayed the linear scale of formerly being able to achieve absolute 0-damage all the time, but still seems out of line with what other Synergies have out there.

    Any thoughts ?? ( @DNA3000 ? )
