Possible bug in Mutant SQ

I was fighting the final Unstoppable Colossus boss in the Mutant SQ on Legendary difficulty with Colossus, and after my first Heavy hit, UC shrugged off the stun and started fighting back.
He was maybe stunned for a few seconds, thats it.
Can anyone explain to me what may have caused this?
I asked in my alliance chat, and a couple more players experienced this when using Colossus in this fight.

Never experienced that before.
Can't believe I've never picked up on it before, as I use Colossus a lot.
