Cavalier EQ - Best Champs

My alliance mates have been talking about the best champions for the Cavalier EQ- everyone of course wants to explore it without using any items and if you have the right characters you can cake walk through every quest. I have not seen much (only a couple things on reddit) that was detailing who are the true god-tier champions of every quest and I have some free time right now and said why not. I'll have something to send to my alliance mates next time one of them says "I just got 6* Luke Cage, is he any good?" Now I know this is probably pretty obvious to a lot of people, but I wanted to make it for the people who are looking for some info. Cheers-

Mutant Quest

Top Tier Mutants for Cav EQ:
Omega Red (feels like this quest was made specifically for him)
Red Magneto
Namor [Duped, high sig helps]
Apocalypse [Synergies- Horsemen]

Second Tier Mutants for Cav EQ:
Havok
Domino (Ability Accuracy Reduction may actually prevent bleeds from converting to Prowess, but if you have Willpower and Domino at a high enough level the bleeds are negligible)
Sunspot
Archangel
Old Man Logan
Gambit
Professor X

Edit: All Horsemen of Apocalypse will do, making Apocalypse a top tier option



Skill Quest

Top Tier Skill Champions for Cav EQ:

Black Widow Deadly Origin
Aegon [Must be duped, high sig] (Does not interact with the global node particularly well, but the paths have been consistently very friendly to get him ramped up before the boss)

Angela/Heimdall synergy: Both are good in the quest, and their synergy allows for an extra fury buff for the whole team

Second Tier Mystic Champions for Cav EQ:
Silver Surfer
Cosmic Ghost Rider
Venom The Duck
Medusa
Hela
Drax
And of course, Groot

Corvus is a notable omission


Tech Quest

Top Tier Science Champs for Cav EQ:
Guillotine 2099 (Power Burn Pre-fight for even more destruction)
Warlock (Great interaction with global node)
Ghost (Terrible interaction with the global node... but she is Ghost...)

Second Tier Tech Champions for Cav EQ:
Guardian
Dr. Octopus
Hulkbuster
Iron Man Infinity War
Both Visions
Civil Warrior

Note: Passive armor ups do not work for the global node

    Claire isn't as amazing for it as she used to be with the new node interaction, but she's still incredible for the Mystic. Definetely top tier. I've literally healed from 2% to 100% in a single Sp2 in the Blood curse. And I've also taken 80% off an opponent with a single Sp2 in Hellfire.

    Personal add (humour me).

    Cosmic Quest should have The Champion and Annihilus listed. Yes, their ramp takes time BUT

    The Champion: His fury is on a timer, and keeps increasing and increasing. 10 Aptitude with his 5 Furies leads to DISGUSTING damage. In all honesty, if you run Thor Ragnarok on the team, 40 hits in and you hit harder than a tank.

    Annihilus: Play Annihilus like normal, except those Furies on sp2 after a few Aptitude buffs make the damage really good as well. If you ramp him well (activating sp2 with 6+ Stifle) results in fantastic damage that I wish Annihilus had at his base.

    Also, claire voyant needs to be bumped up. An sp2 at max prowess nearly quadruples her damage and results in a ton of regen.

    Angela in cosmic quest is not only for synergy...
    I have been using my 5*r3 angela for past 3 months in cav eq.
    I can confidently say that she is a monster dude..
    She gets to 10 aptitudes before 2 bars of power.
    U want to use sp3 for maximum damage.
    1 sp3 in the fight finishes it.

    Guardian in tech class is also a monster.
    I guess this doesn't need an explanation...
    He is the sunspot of tech class.

    Thanks for the input everyone! I actually don’t have an ibom so that’s an oversight on my part. Originally had Dr. Octopus as a top tier tech, if that’s any consolation. I appreciate all the added info! Cheers!

    I've found rogue is actually really good for the mutant one, highly underrated. I have her at r4 and she reduces the bleed duration and can heal a lot from sp1. Sp2 hits like a truck with some prowess.

    Angela is the best cosmic. R4 is doing fights in 20ish hits w/suicides.

    OML is a beast in mutant. 30 hit fights at r5 no suicides but colossus synergy

    Warlock sub 10 hits with suicides (when the node works)
