**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Yeah... that didn't go well. I couldn't make it past Iceman this time. Unfortunately I can't use 3 out of my 5 roster spots just to get perfect block with Gambit. Guess I'm back to the drawing board (and will need to bring in Torch or Warlock for Iceman). But hey, i'm not spending units this time.
It is what I used.
He breaks it down in slo mo, so you can see how tight the timing is
You can do this!
Watching others do it =/ you can do it too.
Really skilled players know exactly what they’re doing for each fight and make difficult fights look easy. It’s usually not the case when you actually try it out yourself.
The unstoppable and non-unstoppable timer keep switching each other. That’s it. If you’re being cornered by unstoppable Champion, launch SP to create distance again.
I may try again after I rank up Thing and/or she hulk. I don’t have CAIW in the mini. Will share if any of these strategies work.
Team: BWCV, Warlock, Moleman, Apoc, and Shehulk. Took the path to clear all the nodes.
Used about 20ish L1 revives to get the champion down to 10% and another 10ish revives with shehulk to dex his sp1. Luckily you can party and heavy the champion when he’s at 10% to prevent the effect of his unstoppable with the slow. I was able to dex him 3 times after a few mistakes and revives but got him down without using units this time.
Good luck with your run!
When I first fought him I had no idea how to do the pattern. I didn't even know i needed to do a pattern when I started the 6.2.6 quest. After wasting revives I just quit the fight. I gave up om that fight for months.
I slowly started practicing the timing of the Dexing Champion specials in duel. And watching videos on the spacing and timing. After I had that down really well, and I was motivated to get Thronebreaker, I went in with 5-Star R5 Doctor Doom and defeated The Champion.
I recommend watching videos on the spacing and timing. And then using practice mode to learn how to setup to bait the SP and do the Dex reliably almost every time.
