Ability accuracy reduction question: magneto vs old man logan (cav difficulty science chapter))

I went in with magneto expecting 70% AA reduction when OML got the metal tag + 30% from my pacify mastery. This equals 100% Ability Accuracy reduction. Am I missing an ability from OML?

Or does it work like taking 30% of 70% and adding that too 70% not reaching full 100? (I'm sorry my english is bad, I think I mean multiplicative or diminishing returns or something?)

Anyway I died to the poison in 6 heavy's so only 6 hits... sad times brothers
