**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

To war or not to war... What is it good for?

Hi all,
(And my ally mates who will probs read this!)
So I'm looking for views on war and whether it's worth it, from those that do war, but also from those Alliances who have given it up.
We run a 10.3k average prestige, no line-esque chat so in game comms only.
We run map 4 mainly in AQ, may run some map 5 with the link nodes down, we hit 159/160m each round and always get 30 people turning up. AQ is decent glory 3,700 ish per round and as a result good rewards too, enough for the 1 chunk of t5cc for our TBs and some left over for t5b and t2a. It's zero stress and very easy for us all to breeze through the maps.
War on the other hand... We bounce from tier 5 to 7 depending on win streak, gold 2/3 and only 2 BGs. So that's 2 to 3 t2a, a quarter to a half t5b a 5*and if g2, 1,000 6* shards.
For 3 weeks of defence tactics, 3/45 6* defenders, occasionally having to use precious glory on pots... For 3t2a and 1000 6* shards.
If you just buy 4 lv4 health pots, that's a while t2a on it's own on glory.
For FAR less effort in AQ, we get 20% t5cc for our TBs, 4-6 t2a and 1 and a bit t5b. And we mainly run map 4...
So.....war, what is it good for?
Is there any level outside p1 and Masters worth it compared to AQ? You get enough 6* shards at the very top, but g1 down, with defence tactics and chunky defenders I'm seriously questioning the value.
I'm also concerned about burning people out, many in our Alliances who are pushing pretty tough content as it is.
So, for those that quit, those that still casual war, those that hard core, those that got burnt out.. intrigued to have your views.

I can totally feel that high up doesn't reward enough because I stressed out as well and that wasn't even at Gold 2..
If you think it's a waste of time don't do it anymore, you're free to choose what you want.
Let everyone choose a bit lower champs so they can focus on AQ and their own progression.
(Just my opinion tho)
No pressure on anybody
My opinion on war is as another casual grind, but one that's far less necessary. If you're a top player sure, but pushing hard to jump a few ranks ain't worth it.
