Horsemen not working

I’ll be honest don’t know much about this champion (apocalypse) never bothered using him but from seeing others use him (on yt) I don’t think it’s working right
I used his pre-fight to make storm a horseman worked great in the first fight but it didn’t carry over to the next fight (my understanding is she should have remained a horseman until the end of the quest not the end of the fight)
