Tigra bug? (Def knocked back when miss)

So I tried this with and without synergies, after game restart, but it still keeps happening. Whenever Tigra causes the projectiles to miss, the defender is knocked back. Would I take the sp in the face, the defender stays put. Visually it's very similar to what whas happening with Colossus's parry with White Mags prefight, or even sometimes with Quake against Fury when stun immune. The defender slides back for no good reason.

Anyone else ran into the same? I can consistently reproduce this in RoL against WS with only my 6r1 duped Tigra on the team. Made a vid too, but not sure how to attach.

From what I remember and I can search in YT that’s always been the case.

You can search for the first Apoc solos on AQ and he always pushes back with the sp1 when it misses.

Looks so, but it's still wrong, isn't it? With miss, there shouldn't be a collision at all, therefore no knockback either. Ghost, Hood, Stryfe, etc, when missed, they stay in proximity, as expected. What happens with Tigra seems fishy.

That is not a bug, ws sp1 is pushing himself back which is normal, when other champs cause miss its bc they are basic attacks, while winter soldiers sp1 is a special attack which pushes him back

If you just stand next to WS and take the sp to the face, it doesn't push him back. So why do so when missed?

Specials and miss behave like walls . If you throw nick sp1 agaisnt wall he gets pushed back

And thats the status quo I'm questioning. Is this right? Should it behave like this? If you miss a punch or a shot, should you slide back? Why is it coded like this? Is it a bug that people just got used to, or is it a feature that Kabam could explain?

It might be old news, I just haven't played miss champs enough in the past to notice it. But it became pretty obvious when learning Tigra spacings.
