Not all magnets attract all metals. Also, as said above, SS isn't actually cosmic metal.

So, interesting question, but I would like to weigh in from the comic book point of view since I’ve been part of this discussion many times.

I only have Silver Surfer #1, and I don’t open it but we can all go online to various comic book reading apps and websites and read the Silver Surfer limited run in the late 1960’s that were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby.

Although I don’t remember which issue specifically, I can say with confidence that when Galactus imbued Norrin Radd with the “Power Cosmic”, Radd became this all powerful being which was connected to Galactus through the “Power Cosmic”. The appearance of the Surfer, a silvery color, is supposed to be a manifestation of the energy he possesses but more importantly a representation of the form of heroes that Norrin Radd read about and heard stories about as he was growing up. Meaning the power he got manifested in that way mimicking his childhood heroes. It is furthermore controlled only by the Power Cosmic until Galactus releases Radd by trapping him on Earth as punishment for defying him.

It’s not supposed to be actual metal, according to the comic books. It’s a power taking the form of whatever it wants, in this case Radd’s childhood memories.

Supposedly it makes him immune to poisons as well - so it annoys me that he’s not poison immune, but hey - that’s another discussion.

Anyway, I remember most of that from when I was younger. Unfortunately I don’t have the Power Cosmic and I don’t look like my childhood heroes.

Iirc - silver surfer isn’t made of a magnetic metal - it’s a metal that only interacts with someone with the power cosmic - essentially it’s a ‘space metal’ that’s cosmically powered by the power cosmic - and isn’t magnetic.

Although I could be wrong. It’s been a while since I’ve read anything about silver surfer.

You're making your own rules it clearly States he controls all metal

Because if you had seen or read practically Any Story Containing Magneto you'd know his Powers are Much Much More than simply "controls all metal" (like how he can disrupt the Interworking of a Body's Nerves System by basically creating an EMP in a Brain causing Seizures which he once did to The Freaking Phoenix), as well you'd know there are plenty of Metals he cannot Manipulate (due to his Powers being *Total Control of Magnetic/Electro-Magnetic Fields* and not simply "controls all metals") for example Vibranium like apart of BP's Suit or Enchanted Uru like Thor's Hammer.

Continue the deny Factual Information with short childish "Nuh-uhhs" as you wish, but it doesn't change the fact that Magneto Does Not "Control All Metal" and Kabam will Never add the Metal Tag to Silver Surfer. (Especially if they aren't going to add it to Professor X who has A Giant Metal Ball on his Head that we've seen Magneto Manipulate Several Times now... 😂)
