Trying to see what others are doing to hopefully help some people out. I use Massacre and just kept spamming special 1 for that disorient. Worked very well. My terrible play style got me killed.

    I’m surprised no one tried Proxima. She worked wonders in stopping his reverse control.

    Quake for me. A little long, but no specials or reverse controls to deal with.

    Didn't realize slow mechanic would handle him so might try she hulk next run but I'd rather have quake on my team since shulk is only R4 and quake, is well, quake.

    I was premature to say proxima works against reverse control. It doesn’t. 😕

    Yes

    to add clarity .. I am aware of the following to counter/ignore reverse controls:

    Prof X
    Mr. Sinister

    Emma & Mysterio together. (ie synergy)

    Magneto & Robots should work as it's supposed to be delirium debuff
    I used Fury & he soloed it 6/7 times, though the game lags when Negs uses special attacks
    Prof X & Stryfe should work as well
    I've heard Falcon is also decent fr that fight

    Tried fighting him normally a few times. The reverse controls are screwing me up less than I thought they would, to the point that I'm confused.

    I think the contrasting visual cues play a decent part in making it not terrible.
