AQ, while being the more monotonous of the two, has guaranteed rewards depending on what the alliance wants to take on, while the rewards from AW is ultimately chance based depending on what matchups you get
AQs are almost just as boring as arenas
Probably the only things that make arena worse than AQ are the load screen & AI behavior
However, almost everything makes me like AQ more. I only lock away three champs compared to eight, it only lasts for five days instead of three weeks, and the rewards after those five days are miles ahead of those after even a whole season of AW.
Moreover, I always know what I'm fighting in AQ. Sure, you have to learn which champs are behind the hidden nodes now that we've changed map, but I hate not knowing what mastery setup opponents have in AW. Can I rely on stun & heavy or does the other player have maxed-out Limber? Dunno until you get smacked in the face by surprise.
So yeah, AQ for sure. It contributes to growing my roster significantly more than AW does.
Can bet more than 80% of the community would not mind if there is no AQ or AW rather an alternative .
