Wanna make arena interesting, place the 5* Basic champion in the last milestone
The removal of all lower star heroes playability by points awarded and milestones means only 6 star and 4 star are viable in two arenas. This means it locks out choice, and therfore reduces the playability of the arena.
This also means that the arena boost crystals are now completely worthless. Boosting a 3 star will just be the same as playing a 4 star. So why bother, when you can just boost a 4 star.
This also means that the greater arena boost crystals are mostly worthless, as only the 4 star and 6 star boosts are use able to maximise rewards gained vs time spent.
The old structure allowed people a large amount of choice and also a "prime" usage arena for each star rating. And this is what made it work well. Yes you could use you 5 stars in the 6 star arena to top up, or you could use them. In the 5 star arena. Yes you could use your 4 stars to top up the 5 star arena, or you could use them in the 4 star arena. Yes you could use your 3 stars to top up in the 4 star arena, or you could use them in the 3 star arena
If you had a ton of 2 stars you had one prime place to use them and one secondary place.
If you had a ton of 3 stars you had one prime place to use them and one secondary.
If you had a ton of 4 stars etc etc.
Now you've got 2 choices. 4 star or 6 star. The milestones simply prohibit the use of other star ratings, based on points given.
To fix this, simply return to the old system, and put the two 6 star arenas in also. But change the 6 star basic to " 5 star max useable" and lower the milestones.
2 star arena - max 1 and 2 stars in this one - milestones based on 2 stars points
3 star arena - max 2 and 3 stars in this one. - milestones based on 3 stars points (put the 3 star featured or basic in here as a reward )
4 star arena - max 3 and 4 stars (put the 4 star featured or basic in here) milestones based on 4 star points.
6 star basic - max 4 and 5 stars in this one - milestones based on 5 star points. 5 star hero is achievable in the rewards and the 6 star also, but not in the milestone. Milestones based on old 5 star arena which had max 5 stars useable in it.
6 star featured - max 5 and 6 stars in this one - milestones based on 6 stars.
That's one option to solve it quickly and easily.
The other option is to change the drop rate for the arena boosts, to only drop 4 star and 6 star boosts.
Basic arena boosts should only drop 4 star x1. 5, x2 and x3.
Greater arena boosts should only drop 6 star x 1.5 x2 and x3.
Second solution is still bad as it continues to reduce choice. But it at least gives people a chance to finish the arena grind in a more reasonable time frame.
Third solution is to adjust points
So 5 and 6 stars get same points in. The 6 star arenas. Allowing people to use their 5 stars to grind more easily.
And 3 and 4 stars give same Points, allowing people to use their 3 stars to grind more easily.
This solution would be doable. As it would mean all 3 arenas would be accessible to more people. So in effect the choice is returned to some degree to people and also the arena boosts are no longer worthless as the 3 stars are viable again.
However, the second option still completely remove the usage of 1 and 2 and 3 and 5 stars from arena, and. Therefore still limits choices.
And the third option still removes 1 and 2 stars from the arena, therefore still limits choice, although its still better than option 2.
Ideally, please consider doing option 1
You guys are messing players who grinds arenas for units and not giving any update about what you gonna do about it. This is wrong and unfair. F2P players and people who have life and a job doesn't deserve this. This is not a QoL change.

18 rounds of Gambit for 3m points/45 units
And all the daily rewards.
Not rewarding or interesting but I’m at 4400 units, trying to get to 5000 by July 4, and I may run some of this content coming out.
Here’s the other problem, based on some simple math: we can be excited for GMC shards, but if you pull together 44,000 shards, it’s still more likely than not that you get 0 5-star pulls (51.17% chance). For that matter, if you pull 5 crystals, there’s a 37% chance they’re all 3-stars. That stings. (For reference, 3mil points gets you 2250 shards)
There only 24 hours you know, this is impossible to waste all of them taping in the phone.
The Arenas suck!
I hav3 to work 3-4 times as hard for what used to be just lo hanging fruit crystal shard wise and I can’t go for three stars anymore .
Why?
The numbers are insane and more premium hero crystals give two star dupes more than anything else..
You not helping ,your hurting and punishing .
Why?
Why are working so hard to kill my love for this game?
And what about newbies ? They’re just screwed.
