Can't advance in chapter 2 of new event.

Maybe I am crazy, but I cannot advance in the second chapter of this new event. Dr. Voodoo's character is blocking the path. I've tried several times clicking it and I also tried rotating the camera (which you can't do). I need to figure this out so I can complete the event. I'm doing it on heroic.

I literally just took this path. It's finicky but you can advance.

Can't advance in chapter 2 of new event.
