Parry, evade, and SOP

If you know parry and evade are broken, why are you releasing content that requires you to do one or both constantly?

If you know evade isn’t working why have this stupid sop fight? where you have to use this broken feature every 5 seconds for a fight that lasts 5 minutes?! You know it’s literally impossible for anyone that has this issue to successfully evade the 100 times needed to complete the fight!

Let me guess.. next week the challenge description will read.
This defender gains a bar of power for every blocked attack. The defenders special attacks are 100% unblockable. The defender takes .5% direct damage for every well timed block, and the defender is immune to damage from all other sources.

It’s really messed up too have a money grab that exploits a broken feature.

I don’t think they have any other choice, sadly.

Would you suggest stopping all content until the bugs are repaired? It sounds like a reasonable idea until you realize the game would likely dry up, and those who are unaffected would not be able to play new content either.

Don’t misunderstand—I still find the bugs painful, especially in my Mojo SoP fight. Just got shellacked as if I never blocked a few times. That’s not right and it wouldn’t normally happen. And I don’t really have an option of “wait until it’s done because the time will get extended.” Maybe it will, maybe not.

So the best to hope for is a slew of pots, preferably with no expiration or just in the form of 4-hour crystals.

I wish it were different. But there’s not a lot anyone outside of the game team can do at this point.

Really??? It’s funny (odd) to you that someone who makes a living off playing a game would actually play the game to continue getting paid? Are you serious? “Hey guys, look a youtuber can do it. That means it must be fine “

Look man, if you want to think of game bugs being exploited by the manufacturer and used against you are ok. That’s fine. But don’t act like a guy getting paid by people like you play the game is the same as the games customers that have to choose whether or not to pay when they play…

He gets money(his job), from you to play… the rest of us work jobs, and don’t get to sit around all day making money for what everyone else does in leisure

I’m just making sure I farm free revives and health pots each week. At least it will still be unit less.
More concerning is whether it will be fixed in time for new AW. AQ is already painful enough on map 7 with the dex and parry issues!

True. But I’m not sure the best comparison is a guy who runs a MCoC YouTube channel. Not saying adjustments can’t be made or that people aren’t whining, but hobby/job distinction probably matters a tiny bit here.

While doing the Adaptoid fight I was reminded of how the parry timings recently introduced are a lot like it was to fight Adaptoids and Symbioids in the past. They have some super quick animations that are hard to react to and counter easily. Even absent the issues I don’t think this fight would’ve been any different for me.

If the Beta is any indication, then probably so. I haven’t tried SQ in Beta yet, but there’s hope based on what I’ve seen so far.

He did but it does not necessary mean that everyone should. Your logic is same as that which is given by people who tells others to do cavalier level difficulty with 3*s when they ask for more difficult content.

Although I can meet those Metal/Villian/Shield milestones on the first day of release, it doesn’t mean that I have no parry dex issues during the fights, especially this Adaptoid requires dex+evade a lot during the fight. The experience is not very good but I treat it as additional pain point of the fight. I really hope they can fix this ASAP.

Normally I explored 100% Cav EQ already, but this time I stop exploring as once I can’t evade the fight as normal, my champ got killed in just few combos.

They’ll say that it Is sent to be released way ahead of time. They can’t stop it from being released.

Also, as far as the parry bug goes.

It’s an adjustment, I’m getting way better at changing the timing on parry.

Should I have to adjust..no. If I want to play, I’ll adjust. ME, just MY opinion.

Sad that I’ll have to readjust to the new parry or old parry timing…🤣😔
