Ever wonder what the champions in their portrait pictures are looking at?

I'm sure I'm just wasting my time here, but does anyone have any guesses where the champions are looking at in their portrait shots? Some champions look directly at the summoner (us) and some look to the left like there's something there.

Any thoughts?

    If you’re posing, turning to the side just makes you look bigger/ better
