100% agree with this. Also just finished a level up daily quest today, where I added a whole bunch of levels to six stars. This is really disappointing and I've always held my tongue compared to a lot of the venom on this forum. But again this is very very disappointing.
Just to circle back, that was a good recovery on the objectives. You got to give credit where credit is due especially when things like this happen.

So here's my thought, it's very hard to please everyone and constantly generate praise, no company can achieve it.
I'm not saying it's on purpose, but these "bugs" do keep a discussion going and when kabam actually get things on point, they get lots of credit for it. I agree the parry/dex bug has hurt the player base but it also shows how everyone will still stick to this game under adverse circumstances.
That's why they try to keep things fresh even if it results in minor bugs every now and then. If the event is on point, they get credit, if it's not they still learn from it and people keep looking forward to more new content.
And I still don't understand the "complete this months event to get access to the next one "....and that too when the solo objectives are terrible. The next thing we know kabam will come up with something like "buy the odins vault to get access to the new event !!"
Your feedback is totally valid, and we're gonna make sure this never happens again. As a reminder, you only need to finish the FIRST tier of any of these objectives in any progression level (that's 10x levels, ranks, or new champions/dupes) to unlock the October Side Event.

Not only that, this should have been said the very first week instead of midway through the event.
I did not have any 6* R1 champs below lvl25, so I used resources for a R2 rank up that I would not have used otherwise. Critically - I used a generic R2 gem that I’ve been saving forEVER. That resource was hard to part with, but it was the only way for me to hit those milestones.
Now, obviously, I want my gem back. The equivalent in T5C and T2A would NOT be the right compensation, because that stuff always is at risk of expiring. Same for glory and anything the glory can buy.
Kabam expects us to take this game pretty seriously at the end game level. I would hope that they would treat us with the same seriousness. It hurts to burn rare resources like generic 6* rank up gems. I’ve got my fingers crossed for them to make it right.
I never even saw these objectives and then all of a sudden I got 1 of them but they were the conqueror version not the cavalier and I'm cavalier so they need to fix this for sure.
These objectives are a horrible way to gain entry to next months special quest. I've probably only missed a couple in the past 4-5 years and most of those were when I was new. I'll be missing next months because I won't have the objectives done. Biggest problem for me is the lack of communication on the process. I had no clue what was going on. Still have no idea when they actually need to be done by? I'm just guessing when the current one ends. Because of the crappy game play I wasn't pushing that hard mostly because I didn't realize the importance of getting them done. Who in their right mind releases something like this when the game was barely playable? I'm pretty mad with Kabam over this actually. I really wish someone in charge there would think things through and not leave everyone fend for themselves tracking down information from several different sources just so we know what to do.
I just max leveled 3 6 stars. Now, these come out. What am I supposed to do now???? without warning no one knew to save level-up materials or six star crystals.
I don’t think they are gonna do something about this. They know they did wrong and didn’t think it beforehand. Surely they are gonna do something about it, but most likely to be an simple apologize compensation.

I don't have much confidence that they will make the right compensation to each of us who have used so much rank up materials. Hopefully they can prove me wrong.
