Blocking midway through special

Since when can the AI start blocking midway into your special? Twice now it has happened, map 6 first fight was against Hood, I've used IAbom for past couple months and never had this issue, first part of his sp2 hit him then right whwn he spits the acid out Hood blocked then hit me with a combo, same thing happened in the next fight against Korg, 1st part hit him then he blocks the acid spit then combos me???
These "bugs" or whatever you're calling them are getting ridiculous, I usually make it to tier 3 with minimal health loss but past couple weeks have been having to use potions, revives and units just to get out of tier 1, the game is becoming unplayable!!!

Yeah, I had the same thing happen to me a while back. I was playing as Taskmaster in arena and fought King Groot. I launched a special attack and got a clean first hit, only for KG to then somehow immediately recover and dex back afterwards. Luckily the AI is asinine so he ran into me again and allowed me to land the final hit, so he didn't have an opportunity to punish me right as I came out of the special.

But that made the fight really hard since I couldn't be sure what would happen at any given time. Luckily it hasn't happened to me again but it seems like the issue itself has not been fixed if you are still seeing it occur.

I’m going to make a guess here since I noticed similarly odd AI behavior. In my case, the screen stuttered while I was dashing in to hit Sentry after evading his Sp1 and swiping immediately at him. He blocked me, almost like the intervening frames that had me dashing didn’t happen. Similar funkiness happened all over the same quest.

Is this “memory leak”? I don’t know, but it seems like a possible culprit. It’s as if the game doesn’t register what happens on your end and allows the AI to respond. To you, it looks like an interrupted combo, but to the AI it looks like you paused your combo and gave it an opening.

It happens on my Xs, although the team claims to be on the Android version of the problem. All the more reason to keep the questing packages flowing.

Some of them just have a pause during specials.

I'm doing this in arena multiple times, blocking mid special.
Next time I'll note the champs involved.

I have experienced opponent AI rushing towards me to hit before the animation of the special attack ends. Most frequently in arena though.

Phew I thought I was going crazy when it happened to me yesterday when I was grinding arena. Right now it’s not that frequent for me, but it would be better to solve it ASAP before it becomes something huge like the parry bug
