Hercules immortality not triggering in War

So the last three times I’ve tried my sig 200 Hercules in war i die without getting immortality. Just took a ko from mix master Nick Fury. What am I missing?

Assassin mastery on the defenders....

Any form of ability accuracy reduction can cause his immortality to fail. In this case, it was most likely the assassin mastery that was responsible.

Really? No I firmly believe Hercules is broken. Unless you can tell me how She Hulk, og Black Panther, stealth suit Spider-Man, Silver Surfer, Captain Marvel, Carnage, Odin, MODOK, Kitty Pryde, Spidey 2099, Guillotine 2099 ect all stopped my signature 200 Hercules from gaining immortality

Girl please explain how all of those champions with different node combinations and none of them affecting their ability accuracy kept my six star rank for Hercules from going immortal? Go on I'm waiting

herc's immortality shouldn't trigger in war, since most people place defense with assasin, which turns off his immortality. The AQ one is probably buffet

I don't think shouldn't is the right word as Assassin only maxes out at a 20% AAR but it's completely realistic that Herc's Immortality would fail when that percentage is added on to other nodes and champion abilities.

i dont run assassin and i was surprised to see Herc imortality failed when i fought him in BG today.

I dont have or play Herc at all so i'm not sure if something else may have caused this.

It’s not about whether you are running assasin, it’s whether your opponent is running assasin

this would be true if i was using Herc, but in my example i was using Scorpion.

but after checking my masteries, it seems i was running 2 points in Assassin, so while very low, it seems this did cause Herc to not trigger immortality.

It’s not about whether you are running assasin, it’s whether your opponent is running assasin

I believe He’s saying that herc was the defender and immortality failed. So RakeYoung running assassin’s would matter. But there are other ways to reduce ability accuracy beyond assassin’s mastery

Like Black Widows 3% evade, which triggers about every single time you go for that 5th hit medium? I swear, whenever OG Black Widow does this, and it literally feels like always when fighting her on defense, the game might as well just change the sound track and play Prodigy (Smack my **** up). Never expect it, but know that it's probably going to happen anyway.

Assassins' and or Pacify, seem to reduce things a lot more often than we expect. And experience tells me even when I don't expect it to happen, it probably will happen... at the exact worst possible time.

You notice the “bad” procs more than the good ones because you spot the outliers easier than the 30 hits before the evade that didn’t get evaded. The time she evaded twice in a combo sticks in your mind way more than the time she evaded none out of 60.

If you think it happens more than it should, do some duels and count out of like 1,000 hits how many actually get evaded because I don’t think it’ll be much more or less than the 3% stated. Until then, it’s just our monkey brains being bad at spotting statistics in real life.

Yeah, my Hercules feels like it does trigger immortality more than when it does. So maybe everyone is running assassin mastery. Serves me right for coming in fights with 1% health!
