As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.

There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.
Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Bug or AI change?

Anyone else having an issue with the defender blocking a special that you launch right at the end of a combo? I’m launching specials like I have 1 million times before at the end of my combo but now I’m being blocked all the time.
I’m not sure if that’s part of the AI change or if that’s a bug?

If Kabam changed AI to increase challenge, it’s not fun.
Here in the monthly mission, I had to repeat that path several times.

I am will to accept launching a special intercept which is not morally right, or not throwing a special and accumulating 3 bars or power or dexing a special attack are some serious and not too much fun changes to the ai
Also ridiculous AI intercepts, when I go to attack/intercept as fast as possible I still get intercepted by the AI constantly now. AI is also consistently hitting through/totally ignoring blocks. Occasionally heavy attacks and specials aren’t registering and my character just stands there or gets pummeled.
The other bug I’ve had for a while is what I call the “dexing a heavy bug”. Basically when the AI goes to throw a heavy attack I get locked in place and can’t move(Similar to when Doom shocks & slaps you) and I get nailed by an unavoidable heavy even if I anticipate it and dex early. Is this considered part of the dex/parry bug, is anyone else experiencing this? I remember I used to be able to dex heavies way easier and even late at times.
All this has lead me to basically revert to a safer, more primitive gameplay. Parry, MLLL, dash back and wait for AI to dash into me and repeat. Even then, that too is risky depending on how parry feels that day.

The recovery time thing has been going on for months personally, since the dex parry bug I’m pretty sure. I play a lot of shehulk and tigra and really noticed the difference, there just isn’t a window sometimes to punish the opponent heavy or specials, spam heavy, backdraft and stand up intercepts, things I’m ordinarily extremely reliable with and which are the fundamentals of gameplay with those champs.
Odd that it’s not consistent. Just don’t know what’s going on anymore. Game will go through periods of hours or days where it’s fairly normal vs as described above plus every 2nd or 3rd dex becoming a parry. The fact I hear of others on the same devices (i8, i12) having zero issues is confusing to say the least.
For last few weeks or so also getting the thing where I just freeze and can’t do anything while the opponent still moving as normal. I instantly think I’m heavy charging and try to release it but I’m just frozen in an idle animation. This can happen when I’m mid combo. Also getting the delayed special release at end of combo meaning it gets blocked.
Pressing the screen for your own champions to do something, lets use intercept as an example, simply initiates the AI to react faster and prevent your request.
Behind all that is a difficulty setting, a bit like FIFA, so that if the game wants you to use an obscene amount of potions and revives it cranks it up to almost impossible.
Then you can go into a heroic level fight and literally have a nap between the AI attacks. LMFAO
