Auto Arena.... Yay or Nay?

Curious of the communities thoughts on this.... would you support an auto arena feature in game? My suggestion would be allowing auto arena up to arena milestones and nothing more (to protect the competitive grinders). Feel this would greatly help quality of life for players while also increasing champ chasing and rank up material usage to help the server burden

Would love to see it, will never happen. Arena is the main place to get units without spending, so Kabam has an active incentive not to automate it.
Think of it like this: why pay 50 dollars for about 1.5K units when you can autofight arena milestones for those units at no cost?

MCOC is not like most games though, in comparison of bugs, features, complexity, and content.

Depends which AI they give us. If it's theirs sure..... if it's the one they give us on autofight, gonna be fun watching your streak auto reset all the time. Your phone might be grinding around the clock.

Make it fair for those that do grind, and those that don’t. Let’s say we have auto foghts going on until you reach a milestone, and you can only do that for like the first 3, otherwise that would be broken to get like 50mil in the higher arenas. It’s neat for those that don’t grind arena, and doesn’t affect those grinding for a champ.

1. What’s the point of auto fighting arena? They can just give us the units and gold(I don’t mind if they do)
2. You cannot reach or maintain a streak on autofight unless the AI gets an upgrade and actually fights like you do

By this time of the month, I'm auto-fighting everything. Arenas are the only place I fight for real.

I believe they have this feature in the transformers forged to fight game (please correct me if I am wrong).... but why would they do it? They would sell a lot more nexus crystal bundles and rank up material packages. Long game vs. the short monetarily.

They would make no money of selling nexus crystal bundles and rank up matieral packages of units that were auto-grinded. There is no upside to this for Kabam other than pleasing the community for a short while before we turn our attention to other things.

Auto-grinding arena would really devalue units. You are supposed to earn resources (or spend your money on them), not get them handed to you for free and 0 effort.

Arena already has auto-fight... me! I watch movies and sports while I'm in arena. I've even dosed off at the start of a fight. When I wake I see I've won while sleeping, with zero recollection of how I won. lol

Try auto fighting in a quest when the attacker and defender are at similar levels. You want to risk an arena streak on an auto fight? Will just end up losing every fight.

Arena is a grind, you take out time for it. WHy would you want those who cannot grind get easy rewards? that is counter intuitive. Arena takes time and gives out units/bcs. autoplay removes that. No thanks.

Question for those who voted nay on this..... did you do so assuming "bots" would ruin the game for some reason?

My thoughts were something along the lines of people who work for a living, or do not have 5-10 hours every 3 days to grind arena... imagine going to work, setting your phone to auto arena, and letting it run while you work. Double productivity... imagine being out with friends and having arena running in your pocket... that was my thoughts on this... not cheating in any way.

The reason I suggested a cap of the auto arena at milestones was to also protect the guys grinding for champs. I can't imagine those results being affected by this in any way. Curious of replies to this.

Yes, the only way that kabam has to "trace" bots is a 3rd party software use.. and maybe a way to analyze a repetition of inputs...
Making it auto just lets them run the game 24/7.. also bots dont rely on winning all 3 matches or even 1.. they just run 24/7 farming points and BC for units.

As much as I'd love it, I don't see a point to it. If it were to emulate my way of playing arena, it would just lock your phone away for hours on end. If it happened in the background and you could do other things while it played out, it would probably break the game with a lot of free gold, units and battle chips just automatically rolling in for players. Plus, I don't trust the AI to keep my win streak going so it would probably take ages to reach the milestones as well.

Why? More importantly what would you replace it with? I understand not liking certain content, I in fact avoid quite a bit of other content but at the same time, I don't campaign to get rid of something just because I get nothing from it, I just don't do it and leave it for other people.

You can already Auto fight in a lot of other content why would you want to Auto fight this one? And then what's next, Alliance Quest and Alliance War on autopilot?

Now I understand the argument for simplifying gameplay, I even understand the argument for more quality of life improvements but at some point, you're just not really playing the game anymore if everything's on autopilot while you're just sitting around watching TV while your phone earns free stuff.

If that's all you want, you could just be playing a different game that already follows that kind of play style.
