    A GGC might be a major jackpot, if you nail those 15k 6* shards.
    Since it's also a rare opportunity to get them, they are much more valuable.
    Cavs and Featured Cavs are there all the time.

    Isn’t gift giving always linked to valuable solo and alliance objectives? I would think as long as you can hit some objectives (likely obtainable by just gifting what comes in holiday calendar) then this time of year gift giving is almost always going to be better option.

    Depends what your "buying" for

    Champions only: I will always go with featured

    GGC if i want a go for those trophy champs and or other resources available there
