Cap Falcon Autoblocking Without Armors

Not sure if I’m missing something in either the nodes or Falcons description, but when throwing a special 2 from BWCV against Cap Falcon while he doesn’t have any armor up buffs, how is able to autoblock the special attack?
His abilities states he needs armor ups to autoblock specials attacks, however when activating a special 2 she places a buff immunity on him not allowing him to gain armor up buffs.
I didn’t have any concussions on me at the time. This has been tried multiple times with the same end result. Please advise if this is working correctly and if so, how he is able to autoblock with no armor up effects.
