Paragon players have had a fair bit for being the title they are, I feel it’s a little disingenuous to say “not get anything more intriguing”. What were you expecting?

It appears they have checked their databases and there aren't enough paragon players to make specials paragon level deals, which is frankly silly imo given how they announced this title. They would make the same money but give away potentially more resources to paragon players so they are not releasing any paragon deals until July 4th when they hope to have more paragons.

It is poor imo - as a paragon player the only thing that has made the change worth it has been the daily crystal. There is no Test of the Paragon, Trial of the Paragon or actual Paragon deals in what has been almost 2 months of the title.

The calendar is okay but not spectacularly as the jump from Cav to TB was. The lack of t5b and t2a is glaring (even if you can get it via RNG from the dailies). Like I said the daily crystal has been the best thing whereby you can get almost everything in the calendar in 7 days worth of crystals instead of a month minus the minute t6b and t3a.

Matter of fact the reward exclusivity of EOP proves the point more:

monthly/daily cards - only leveled up to TB
Trial of Paragon - only leveled up to TB
Test of the Paragon - only leveled up to TB.
daily/weekly objective crystals - still only at Cav level

Why could these not be adjusted after 2 months similarly given the daily crystal, EOP and 4 hour crystals could be adjusted? EOP is reduced or lower level for titles below paragon ie Paragon's are increased - why not see similar in other aspects of title-influenced resources?

I'm guessing the answer will be the "game economy' which means maybe it was too early for this title, and part of why they didnt seem ready on launch which so much of it as "coming soon"... but it has been released to drive interest and spending for July 4th.

The daily crystals are pretty amazing. Calendar is good. EoP objectives are good extras for Paragon players. July 4 is coming soon.

I think people are pushing for it because there’s nothing else to do besides push for it? Most content is wrapped up for high level TBs at this point.

There is no hypocrisy - I am asking for 2 things that are already based on in-game titles to be upgraded: money-based offers (eg monthly cards) and free items/benefits (e.g. certain title-based crystals). There is no hypocrisy in spenders wanting offers to spend on that reflect their title in the same way others are fine with title benefits in events that don't require but can benefit from spending.

Me disagreeing with you that in-game rewards based on game performance are not enough is not hypocrisy, it is my opinion. You think that EOP rewards are a paragon benefit that makes up for not having upgraded items and offers, I do not. That is not an example of hypocrisy . Hypocrisy is portraying beliefs that I do not in reality have - what I have stated is what I believe.

I would be fine with more Paragon rewards. But I don't feel like we've been shortchanged. The daily crystal alone has been awesome. Loads of Tbcc, 5K 6s shards a few times, and large amounts of T5b. Just for logging in and opening a free crystal. Hard for me to complain.

My point is you said that the only thing that made Paragon worth it is the daily Crystal - implying EoP wasn’t worth it. I pointed out that EoP gives you half a T3A and T6B. You said that the benefit of EoP depends on whether you complete it or not, implying that it wasn’t a very good benefit - otherwise you’d have included it when you said what made paragon worth it.

So does EoP make paragon worth it, considering you get more than what the daily Crystal gives you? If not, why does the daily Crystal and unit offers make it worth it, but EoP doesn’t?

I mean I've been fine keeping my money rather than spending on **** deals tailored to a lower progression level.

The only real issue I see is that Kabam stated there would be deals tailored to Paragon AT LAUNCH. They coulda just said shortly after launch, or hell, just say starting this July.

But that's not what you said, even if you think it was clearly implied. In the same way you feel satisfied with the title on release (and up tot now) I don't (I am satisfied to an extent).

Us disagreeing is not inconsistency (or hypocrisy).

The only misstep was me thinking you were talking about the Paragon calendar as a source of t3a & t6b (something you get it once you log in w/o using any resources) vs the event gate (something that you may or may do, or may or may not use resources to complete).

You hadn't said exactly what you were referring to and I assumed it was the calendar drops. When people discuss what they get with a title they don't usually mention special events like Gauntlet or SOP - they will talk about calendars, crystals (and offers if you spend).

So essentially we can agree to disagree on this and that's fine by me. I'm not trying to convince anyone - just expressing my expectations and disappointment.

It’s entirely possible that you take this video game way too seriously.

And Kabam is doing just fine. They have actual marketing strategists and people who know how to monetize the game, so if they’re waiting for 7-4, it prolly makes sense. Just not to you I guess.
