**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Dealing with masochism.

I am fastly approaching lines in the sand and I am quite scared frankly for it.
Any good ways to combat it?

Masochism has a little window you can exploit : it can't trigger all the time. After purifying a debuff it will go on cooldown. So you can apply debuffs during that time with any champion.

Try and learn re-parry if you can :
    > parry like normal, the stun will go off immediately
    > then parry right after, the stun will stick.

Certain champions like Apocalypse can ignore that node because his debuffs can't be purified by masochism.

Edit : of course you can rely on champions who don't apply debuffs, or don't need to parry to get openings like Ghost. Also this is a good way to test your ability at intercepting. ;)

Read A Comprehensive Guide To 5.2.4: Lines In The Sand and watch this:

A team of 4-Star max rank or equivalent is going to block damage but if your intercept game is good, it is doable.

BWCV can counter with her anti buff debuff, while the opponent is below this he can regenerated or gain power, is the same for buffet nodes, this kind of nodes effects counts as buffs, so they don't triger their effects.
Another way are reversing heal champs and re parry style.
