New 6* Featured Crystal is broken

PhatPhishPhatPhish Member Posts: 6
I just opened 16 of the new 6* featured crystals and got none of the new champs. I got Havok 5 times! There is no way there is an equal chance at each champ. My alliance members are all reporting the same results. Stay away from these crystals!

I think that RNG means, that even with 1 mio shards, there is a possibility to pull every time the same champ.

It’s randomized but yeah it hurts really hard

Sorry to hear you struck out. I've been there, believe me. I opened 36 Apocalypse features and missed every time.
Unfortunately thats just bad RNG. I've seen several people in my chat pull all 6 feature champs today. And I pulled Omega Sentinel from my one and only feature crystal today. 🤷‍♂️

Don't give up. Your luck will turn around.

An equal chance at 1/24 outcomes doesn't mean you will get one of everything in 24 Crystals. It means that each Crystal you open gives you a 1 in 24 chance at any particular outcome. For each Champ, you have an equal chance of pulling it in any roll. Having multiples is a very common thing. The Crystals you're pulling now don't account for the Crystals you just pulled.

If you believe that then you deserve to play og spidey all your days. It's rigged. Kabam admits as much on the Juggernaut buff..... if he's a common pull then obviously there's no RNG. Don't see people pulling Doom like Drax.

8 pulls, 1 new featured and 1 dupe of featured. Eh, the RNG has been cooked again.

Was this sarcasm? I hope it's sarcasm.

Next 5 were back to back pulls of Sabretooth (already at sig 60), Nightcrawler, Elsa (sig 80), and Drax. Not Sarcasm…

Opened 1 and pulled Hulkling so I guess the RNG just as good in my opening as it was bad in yours??? No I just think each crystal is a gamble! If you had cards laid out Infront of you upsidedown numbered 1 through 24 and somebody mixed them everytime after you flipped one over what do you think the odds would be of you pulling every number once in 24 turns?? Not very good? No almost impossible! Same applies here. There will be dupes and there will be times you open the same champion 3 times in a row. It's all bound to even itself out the more you open but opening 16,18,24,30 or 50 doesn't mean you are guaranteed to get anyone!!

And the only thing Kabam meant by saying Juggernaut is more common is that he has been in the game since the day it was released. So yeah for anyone who has been playing the game for more than say a year it's more than likely that they have a 5* or 6* Juggernaut sitting on their bench or at least a 4*. So yeah it's more likely the longer you have been playing to have the older champs than the new because the math says so. You have just had more opportunities to pull the older champs than the newer champs. There is no benefit for Kabam to go account to account keeping people from pulling certain champs. How do they know what champ you are looking for or want? Maybe out of this featured Drax was my favorite Marvel character and I pulled 5 Scorpions and 2 Omega Sentinels and I think Kabam rigged the crystal because I didn't get Drax? That's Ludacris they don't know who you want nor do they care. They just want you to keep spending money opening them that's all. And when 1 person quits opening 2 others take their spot. Kabam does some shady stuff and they aren't the best but I'm a firm believer that they do absolutely nothing to "rig" the crystals LMAO!!

It's not broken but there are absolutely no guarantees that you'll get anything you want. I only got one of the featured champions from the last crystals throughout its entire run. I don't think I got any when Hercules was in it.

Now I suddenly got both Black Cat and Scorpion.

It's a random system. That means you'll get burned just as often (if not more) as you get lucky.

Except it's not random. Kabam has patents on algorithms that make your spending affect your odds.
Having a patent means nothing, it just means no one else can use it without kabams permission. The whole patent thing has been debunked billions of times. You're experiencing confirmation bias. All these people agreeing with you makes you believe it but in reality, your experience, is a miniscule fraction of data actually needed to conclude anything.

Go watch Lagacys opening. Watch Karatemikes opening. Just because your brain can't handle it being random, doesn't mean it's not.

Guess you aren't aware of their patents regarding spending. How much you spend factors into your odds of pulling better and newer champs

It truly doesn't. Go watch Damnepicwhales Valkyrie opening. Spent $1000 to get her. He spends tons on this game so by your logic, she should have been pulled in the first batch.

CoWhale proved you wrong a thousand times over with his openings. He's literally buy crystals until he pulled a champ. He spent tens of thousands on openings and still couldn't get what he wanted.

Take your conspiracies outta here. This comes up at least once every year. Just because there is a patent for it, does not mean it is implemented. ALSO people who spend more look like they get better champs, however, they are spending a lot so they have a larger amount of crystals they are openning while ftp open a smaller sample size. Thats the difference. Of course if you're buying a bunch of crystals the odds of you getting a champ are better than if you open just one. That had nothing to do with a patent that is just common sense.

Amazon have a patent for warehouse blimps that drones take down your orders from. Take a look in the sky and let me know how many of those you see - if there is one, perhaps you could order some tin foil.

Companies patent ideas all the time. To suggest that patenting an idea guarantees it is being used is as wrong as it is conspiratorial.

Same here my dude. 9 crystals and 3x havok dupe and other unwanted and useless cause I won't waste my time ranking them. Yeah I still believe the odds are not the same for each champ. It's just a little coding for that to happen. They can deny all the want but it doesn't mean what they're saying is the truth. I know by now companies aren't in the truth business not even religious organizations that are supposed to
Do you have any way of proving it or you just sticking with "trust me bro"? Y'all claim Kabam can't make a single update without bugs etc.. but expect them to be able to implement code to skew your featured pulls flawlessly 100% of the time with no bugs? Lol mmmmmmk
