**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Bro why is Galan not XL

LMAOOOO I'd like to see what the ones calling nimrod short have to say about this.

Someone tagged me in a joke about this weeks ago… now we’re living it.

That being said the important distinction that I would point out is that Galan is pre-Galactus Galactus. For all intents and purposes this version has never been shown to be larger than a normal human as far as Im aware. Now what is kind of weird is that kabam took an odd route by making him seemingly retain all the powers of galactus (and LITERALLY munch planets in his victory screen) only to pull the rug and keep his size as large. Now we have a character who doesn’t match the description of either counterpart he’s based on. If you want him as Galan give us galan. If you want galactus give us galactus. This weird fence sitting and making him large is just… strange.
He isnt Galan neither he is Galactus-he is somewhere in the middle.
Galan who got the Power of Galactus-all of it. But refused to devour worlds, instead of devouring inhabited worlds, he summons planets and suns for him to consume, using his staff
    I think.
To sum up this is friendly Galactus

Easy answer: because Kabam wanted it that way. There are more considerations for gaming than comic book accuracy. This questions falls in the same bucket as "why isn't Ghost Rider poison immune" or "why does Quake impact champs that float?"

It is what it is, and most likely Kabam will not reveal their reasoning.

Anyway, maybe Galan has a fat big brother who would define the XL dimensions for that race. No one really knows.

That was my first thought as well when reading up on Galan

Maybe Kabam would say that Galan in MCOC is different from comic, and his size could change according to battlefield. In contest he just scale down to this height, thus L. Strange but that’s it.

The only time size matters, in mcoc anyways, is when a node is involved. So why are people offended when they aren't tagged what they think they should be.

Because, like you said, it helps with various nodes. (And an entire variant)
Still not a reason to get upset over a size tag though. Still plenty of other champs with said tags that accomplish the goals.

That is not different from the comics. Galactus is usually portrayed as a towering giant, but he can change his size at will, and frequently does so. He also naturally shrinks when he hasn't fed recently.

Man, this man be towering over planets on the loading screen... but Venom is taller than this man.

Those are just tiny planets obviously.

This isn't a matter of node reasons.
This is a matter of principle.
While, yes, it would be nice to have another character for when they bust out the size matters nodes, it's just that this small thing is quite bothersome so much lol.
To me, this is just as annoying as the period when Ghost Rider wasn't incinerate immune.
It's a small thing, but it's a very annoying one nonetheless.
