Gauntlet conquered🥳

So I recently completed the first path of abyss because i had revives expiring and i had all content 100%. Well after the abyss my revive stash was K.O. 😂. And all of sudden we had the gauntlet come back, and i was barely a few t6b and t3a short to rank up my ghost to r4 and alot of tech iso expiring, so had to do it in time because the EOP rewards i think won’t be claimable soon.
So thanks to kabam’s upgraded cav offer i got the revives for the gauntlet.
My team: r3 apoc, r3 ghost, r2 cable, r3 tigra and 5* r5 kitty. Truly kitty and apoc are pretty much the MVPs. To cheese some annoying fights kitty with tigra and ghost is phenomenal!
So the fights went something like this:
Doom: solo apoc. Straightforward fight.
Terrax: solo kitty, seriously cheese with kitty(synergised) finished with full yellow bar.
Vision: solo kitty, similar fight to the 6.3.6 captain america, absolutely demolished him!
Modok : 1 40% revive apoc
Ham: made kitty a horsewoman and took 51% by kitty in one try, then 3 40% revives used. One of the annoying fights where the node is defensive only when its time to throw specials🤦🏼…
Weapon X: solo apoc
Thing: 1 team revive. Easily solo-able fight but due to the aggressive nature of thing even when the armor phase is active in oscillate, got wrecked trying to heavy spam a bit and sometimes got cornered and sometimes inputs let me down( seriously block- dex do something!
Korg: 2 revives used kitty and apoc, another annoying fight because korg’s block penetration keeps increasing, kitty can solo the fight but obviously mistakes were made😂
Dragonman: team revive, only counter i had to the powergain was tigra who doesn’t nullify sadly, but taking one hit of the sp1 on the block will apply ineptitude on you and you can neutralize the power gain once and it won’t proc again. But due to tha passive nature of dragonman cannot keep the neutralize up for long and tigra senses fall off and really effects her damage, also aspect pf evolution is no friend, used other champs as well but dragonman always goes for the sp3…
BPCW: 1 revive on tigra. Would’ve been a solo but i forgot about arc overload’s armor at the very beginning of the fight and took the unblockable hits to the face
NC: ghost and apoc, would’ve been an easy solo with ghost but NC shadow dexed when i threw sp2 and then 2 hits and ghost down😬, then apoc came to the rescue and crushed NC( try to reduce the evade AAR to 100 for the next fight, which i did)
Spidergwen:solo apoc, this fight is hard but apoc makes it a piece of cake with evade AAR reduction, only problem which can come is the stun on the block with the 4 genetic code but it is manageable.
Domino: solo apoc, could be a really challenging fight but apoc again comes through.
Mojo: 2 team revives. Absolutely hated this fight, possibly one of the most annoying fight on the path. Used all my strength to stop myself from throwing the phone.
Ibom: 1 team revive, easily solo-bale woth ghost just don’t get cornered( which i did..), most champs very almost down on the mojo fight so had to revive the whole team.
Apoc: 1 single revive, ghost handles the fight really well but the block damage on specials is enormous, had to revive her once and finish the fight with apoc.
Sassy: 1 team revive , very hard fight if you don’t have a heal blocker, because a million health sassy has 400k health when below 40% and the healing is absolutely insane. Apoc brought him down to 40% then because of lifecycle there was no DOT and it was really hard to take him down. The other team members didn’t have any ability to shut the healing down, so in the end again it was apoc with mutant damage boost and 200% boost( this boost really didn’t have much use tbh cuz u gotta hit him with sp1s) after a 10 minute battle I finally took him down with assassin mastery kicking in and also hitting only when stunned so regens don’t trigger with concussions reducing AAR by 70% and parries 30%.
Killmonger: solo kitty. Kitty absolutely cheeses the fight with the synergies no need of power gain just dash in -dash back.
Void: 1 team revive, cable took a big enough chunk by heavy spamming , the rest of the team tried hard enough got 1-2 specials before dying.
Nick fury: solo kitty, could be a hard fight but finished with full yellow bar healing with fury’s bleeds and disorient debuffs😂
Nameless thanos: solo kitty, kitty absolutely ingnores everything in the fight 😂 and cheeses all the phases ( tigra and ghost synergies are sort of the key)

All in all really enjoyed the gauntlet, way more than abyss. I wish kabam makes more content like this😄

Anddd next level up event this beast is going to R4!

You’ll need ghost for very few fights, mainly ibom, NC, spidergwen and domino. Apoc can deal with all except ibom. R4 kitty will do a lot of lifting easily. Also apoc fight is sort of tough.

The only fight you need to worry about is sassy because Sasquatch’s healing can be a pain so be prepared for that cause he can derail your whole run probably the only fight you can’t complete by revives alone.

I think I'm going to sub ghost for someone. Maybe my 5r5 sig200 herc can do some lifting but can he handle Ibom? Otherwise I'm thinking r3 ultron since he will handle domino too. My other best options are r3 claire, r3 king groot or r2 she hulk.

I just now realized cable also reduces potenxy of poison debuffs with 20% so he's immune after 5 poisons. But putting 8+ degens on ibom gives him 200% more attack. Think I can brute force it in a couple of fights?

Because that opens up a slot and I thought of bringing my r3 stryfe for the apoc synergy. That gives him a significant damage boost for these fights so should save me some revives.

Just some strats I'm thinking about, what do you think?

I’d say do a recon fight by fight for which champ you’d use to take someone out. That’ll help you shortlist the champs you can take.

In my opinion, take kitty, ghost, tigra - kitty with this synergy team can avoid so much damage and has unrestricted access to phase and unblockable throughout the fight. Definitely take apoc .And i think stryfe instead of cable is also a good option because stryfe has very good damage once ramped up and the synergy with apoc gives him very nice damage increase which can help finish fights faster.

@Gogeta91199 yeah ghost also increases the damage of kitty so I think you're right and I should bring her. Can prob ramp up stryfe on the wolv x fight with a couple of revives so should be good idea. Here are my other champs if you have a recommendation (r2 mrF, she hulk and sentinel aren't on the picture).

MSD did his run with colossus, prof x , apoc , tigra and shehulk.
Whereas swedeah did it with shang chi, kingpin, stryfe, spidey2099 and sorcerer. So its kind of pick your own poison when it comes to it.
I’d say recon and take the champs you’re most comfortable with and which can take some of the hard fights like sassy, mojo, ham,etc and you’ll enjoy the challenge!

With stryfe he can easily take it without him its pretty hard.
