Can you please confirm if season 36 starts with today's war or from war on next Wednesday 08/24??

    It was originally scheduled for the 19th (today) but has been further postponed to 8/24 due to additional problems with certain aspects of war. So the in-game timer showing four days and change before the start of the season should be accurate, and there should be a forum announcement up there at the top indicating this as well.

    It “counts” as far as your War Rating will still go +/- (which, btw, happens for non-Tier-5 alliances every war anyways, including off-season).
    It also “counts” as far as you still get the appropriate Shards/etc for Winning (and less Shards for losing), just like every war.

    Just doesn’t add Points toward a Season Point Total and Season Rewards.

    So those teams that complained their WR last season was not moving up as high of rate as it should have, can go try for the Win and increase their WR to maybe push them into higher Multiplier Tiers before the new start of season.

    -OR- other teams can go ahead and sandbag a loss and drop their WR down prior to new starting date if they want to try to game the system and get easier matches come the new season (remember, locking WR was enacted to counteract that strategy, so now you have a chance to do that again for a couple wars).

    Just put this season to rest and cancel it already, let us play some off season wars while all problems are fixed, then we can have a fresh start with season 37 with the updated rewards
