Rintrah: bug or confusion?

In arena, gambit vs rintrah.
About halfway through the match gambit had 10 charges, which were neutralized when I went to convert them. Lesson learned, waited until gambit had no debuffs, held block but did not gain charges anymore throughout the fight. Does rintrah cause buff immunity without any debuffs?

Was it longer than 16 seconds before you tried the second time? First thought would be a cooldown on charges tied to length of prowess maybe.

If not, it sounds like a bug – not registering that the prowess expired because they were never there.

Sometimes when neutralize stops a buff it’ll completely stop the interaction of how that buff is gained. For example, if you stop dragonman’s power gain buff when it tries to reapply with a neutralize, it’ll shut it off for the rest of the match and can’t ever come back. It’s usually any buff with regards to a timer.
