Incursions: Zone started but not completed...

Hey there,

very brief question: Let's say you complete Zone 5 in Incursions... Then you start zone 6, but are not able to defeat the boss and you exit out of incursions...

Do you lose any of the rewards earned in Zones 1-5? That is, is there any penalty for starting the next zone but not completing it?

So when the game changed from Dungeons to Incursions, did they basically do away with the decision you had to make about advancing to next room or not ?

Before, wasn’t it that if you chose to exit after completing a room you got xxx amount of points, but if you proceeded to next room but failed within that next room you got some amount LESS than the previously offered xxx points ??

So now you would still get the SAME ? Whatever the amount is for Completing a room, no matter where you subsequently give up and exit at afterwards ?

That is how I remembered it working before I gave up on the mode before. I have only played the new solo Incursions 2x so far and was concerned about the same thing. It would be nice if there was more in-game explanation of the mechanics of these things for those that want it.

Top Zone reward status wouldn’t really be the issue, they wouldn’t reduce the highest completed zone just from entering (and trying) the next zone.
And those are rewards you don’t get until the end of the (whatever they’re calling the period of time, aka season)

But more so was whether any type of reward you get right then and there when you finish the Incursion would still be reduced like it used to be in Dungeons.
Whether in Partner mode, or Solo mode.

Guess it's not now.

Maybe that's the point... The way it is now, you receive the "Top Zone Reward" then and there (and don't lose it by starting the next zone and failing). I'm talking about the "Incursion Artefacts" and the crystal shards.

AFAIK it is the same with the milestone rewards (aka: Gold)...

So all in all, it is great that there is no harm in always trying for the next zone...
