I know, I know, another compensation request, but I feel it's just. Over the past few months I'm sure a lot of people other than myself have dumped rare resources into defenders with high p.i. values, removing this rating entirely seems like a slap in the face to those of us who were constantly trying to adapt to the best way to win AW. I don't expect anything to be returned, rank down tickets etc, but it may be nice for Kabam to meet us half way, I certainly would have saved things like 5* AG for other characters if I thought the scoring system would be zeroed out in particular categories.

No compensation is needed
Compensation may be the wrong word, but so is no one, I and several in my alliance ranked specifically to boost rating
As battles started to be won be a few marks on defender rating we ranked high prestige rubbish defenders to boost the rating and win war. I have got a rank 3 5* loki which i took up over better champs as he had a higher pi. I never really use him for anything else and its just a waste or resources. A lot of people in our alliance have ranked up one or two champs specifially for aw to r5 5/50 or 5* r3. This consumed a vast amount of resources which could have been spent on champs to help progression in solo events.
I welcome kabams attempt to fix aw, as most of us agree it is broken, however, this seemingly constant changing of goalposts has created a feeling of discontent and has disadvantaged players. We dont need huge compensation packages but rank down tickets to reuse the hard earnt resources are a must.
If you didnt you would quickly slide down the alliance rankings and lose a tonne of 5* shards.
