Rintrah gaining power due to buff failure on Titania

Basically everything is in the name of the topic. Rintrah gets power gain, which should activate due to buff failure caused by neutralize, even though Titania does not get any buffs.

Yep. They have stated this interaction with neutralize is "correct". Same thing with fighting Wiccan with a buff immune his neutralize causes incinerates. They basically stated that because they are immune to buffs it tries to be applied and neutralize stops this trying even though the buff would not be applied. For the record, I think this interaction is dumb and wrong, but the official response is that this is not a bug but an expected outcome.

That’s stupid beyond belief. How can you get punished for a buff that never get?

Because buff immunity is not some Trump over all card. It's an effect just like any other.

When a bleed affects a champ, it sees that it is bleed immune and does not apply. But if aar were to prevent the bleed from ever trying to proc in the first place, immunity is irrelevant. Same goes here.

Buff immunity only matters if the buff were to ever trigger in the first place which is prevented by neutralize

    The censored word is trump.

surpass (something) by saying or doing something better.

Yes because it’s not prevented by neutralize, because there’s nothing to prevent. Same as poison immunity does bot trigger poison dmg. You probably work for Kabam or something…

That's what you have to understand. Immunity is just an effect like neutralize or stagger or whatnot. It's not an end all. Ability accuracy takes precedence here.

When Claire places her buff immune debuff, it prevents the buff when it activates. But if it were to never activate in the first place due to something like aar, then buff immunity has no role

You managed to contradict yourself in one post so badly. When CV places buff immunity she doesn’t benefit when there are no buffs to be seen.

Immunity is immunity it has nothing to do with neutralise if there is nothing to neutralise in the first place. That’s just bad coding on the shoulders of kindergarten logic.
