It's difficult to find a solution to some of this that will keep everyone happy but at least you clearly understand what the problems are.
And of course it will take a few months to bring in these changes. It's not a simple thing to rework some of the major systems like this.
Monthly updates would be appreciated. I know some people will moan either way but there's a big section of the player base that will feel much more positive if we're not kept in the dark.
They finally only make an official acknowledgement after several months of ignoring the issue once they finally came to terms with the fact the issue wasn't going to go away.
And what tier are you in? If your higher than bronze than zero sympathy as I'm 17k prestige still in bronze so really don't understand why lower players think they should only face lower players on easy path to GC while far stronger rosters slug it out every single match against top players in the game starting in bronze.
Also I don’t think anyone has any confidence that a new cheating detection system will actually work or disincentivise future cheating attempts. Whilst cheaters only get a wrap on the knuckles cheaters are gonna cheat.
I think it’s clear BG is not currently fit for purpose. It’s rife with bugs, exploitation poorly designed matchmaking system. The best version of battle grounds was the Beta.
4 seasons of these issues is simply unacceptable and it is unbelievable that you'd allow us and want us continue to have this miserable experience. We endure it because we genuinely love and enjoy the game. A lot of us have been her since the game launched. Unfortunately, you're taking our love for the game and stretching it to the absolute limit. Per day, I personally experience 10+ bugs in BGs and know others players who experience more than I do.
There are paying customers as well as free players in the game that are being provided with a "suboptimal experience" and service as you have stated. This has caused and is continuing to irreparable damage and mistrust between you, as a company and your community. I hope you truly do realise this.You make lots of money from the game and it should be a priority to fix issues being experienced.
And yes, there are invisible brackets within the tiers that cause players to be matched up with players closer to their overall roster strength. These invisible brackets seem to get a little more fluid in higher tiers (notice OP never responded back to what tier he was in).
Additionally people are losing interest quickly in BG meaning less people searching for matches. If no one is on in similar "invisible brackets" and then the search expands as the search time increases.
How is this even possible? Will we be compensated for these bugs?
the only concern is timeline.
i hope they stagger the updates to make incremental changes to ease the pain of the gamemode. That would be better than one huge update (and i'm sure that is their aim)

Lagacy literally gave up on his stream because of BG bugs. Kabam, the problem is real. The discontent is growing. An expedited interim solution is needed. If you can’t fix the game, I think you need buy people’s loyalty with BG compensation.

I think the best way to make it fair is to have both players chose defenders and attackers at the same time blind. As in both players chose who they want to defend and when they are locked in they are revealed to each other. Then they both chose attackers blind and when those are locked in they are revealed and the match proceeds. This is definitely the most fair thing to do but I can see it potentially being an issue with to much guesswork on who the opponent will pick.
Alternatively, you could have the order go Player 1 places defender, Player 2 places defender, Player 2 places attacker, Player 1 places attacker. This is instead of the current P1 Defender, P2 Defender, P1 Attacker, P2 Defender.
If they started with the guarenteed revive per day there would still be community outrage and would be more difficult to win the community over afterwards
One of the biggest accounts in game…..with impunity. Last 2 rounds were egregious, but this thing fight using a champ that needs to nullify vs a nullify immune thing and a 29k hit against sig 200 thing.
Massacre with a 21k hit in 10 seconds after he reset the fight to turn on his android boost…
Maybe you guys should fix some issues before you worry about revive farming.
1. Matchmaking system is choosing 70% opponents with superior rosters
2. AI is passive to the point were 40 seconds per fight are wasted baiting specials. On the other hand, AI is very quick to throw specials while we dash back making it impossible to evade, same thing when we hit the block.
3. We get intercepted mid combo while doing a medium because you`ve increased the AI reaction time / speed
4. SP3 is thrown before finishing our 5 hit combo
5. Inexplicable moves mid combo : dashing is interpreted as dex or going back
6. Conflictor does not register while parrying, we`re parrying again with the thought that it`s safe to do our combo and of course we get comboed into oblivion
7. The champs the system is choosing from the decks are not random. Too many times the second we`re choosing one defender, the opponent gets the counter right after.
8. Modders have become tough to spot as the tech has evolved which makes us lose fights that we should have won
These are the exact things we`re facing at least 1/fight. As this game mode became extremely competitive, 1 of these can make the difference between winning and losing. If you think we`re gonna wait for months till you make the time to address this without losing interest you are completely delusional.
1. Leave the current victory track method of winning X matches in a row in place, to advance, and call it the fast track
2. Add a slow track where you can win a total of 2X matches in any number of tries to advance in the victory track.
Then if you win a few in a row you advance but if can't win a few in a row you can still progress by winning a set number of matches. It's a game, this makes it fun.
This allows you to always see progress in the victory track, which will get more people playing it. Make the victory track a solvable problem for anyone willing to play enough and they will play more. Leave the way you match people as is in the victory track.
Then make the gladiators circut the blood bath where you get matched to anyone and everyone and you have to win matches in a row to advance.
This way everyone can enjoy the victory track and its rewards and the best players with the best accounts get the glory of smashing people in the gladiators circut.
