Yes exactly this! I totally get where Kabam as a company is coming from. And the timing is probably never right to remove farming according to the community. But especially not now! I really hope something is done that's more than what is currently being discussed. My preference would eb, keep revive farming and make these changes by the time inputs have returned to an accaptable level
We are all commenting on this, but kabam does not care. They see us as $$. And revive farming makes them think we are taking away their money. So what if modders and fraud takes away their money. Screw the honest players. They don’t give a **** what we have to say about these issues. They have a plan in place already. They’ll give us some bs feedback that “we’ve read your feedback, and we have some changes coming”. Those changes will still hammer the honest guy.
I almost understand why guys would want to mod this game! Why spend money when they’re just going to bleed you dry… I’ll just have my weekly check direct deposited into their account. I’m sure I’d still deal with trash, but it’s ultimately what they want.
I should have left this greed driven **** long ago. I’m an idiot, so obviously I’m not leaving yet. Bit this type of greed sure makes me want to
Thank you for your feedback, we are reading every comment. Please keep your messages constructive; most of you have so far, thank you for that.
Based on the feedback in this thread, we have started internal discussions around adjusting revive/potion inventory caps. This is not a guaranteed change, but is what is most prominently being discussed.
These conversations will continue to take place behind the scenes and could grow to include other potential adjustments as well.
We will use this thread to provide updates if/when we have news to share.
I've never wanted to quit this game more than I do right now. I definitely won't spend anymore. This change is absurd, the unit cost of all consumables are 1.5 to 10x the value. The availability on respectively difficult content is ridiculously low. Without drastically dropping the unit costs, glory costs, loyalty costs of consumables and making appropriate levels consistently spawn in higher content, this change will greatly extend the feasible time between content completion if not the possibility of it ever happening.
This change could never, in any conceivable way, be taken well by the community. Every game that has ever existed as done so with the existence of a "loot cave." This trade of time for needed resources needs to be uncapped. Unless this apothecary bs gets l2- l4 revives and ample l3-l6 health potions in large quantities and can be farmed as many times a day as we'd like, then this is the worst possible design decision that could ever be made.
Someone should educate the Kabam official that authorised this change, to Aesop's fable: "The goose that laid the golden eggs" . You know, since MCOC is Netmarble's prime source of profits.
The only reason bugs and generally you messing up is bearable only because theres some revives to be farmed. If that revive was part of 5-10$ deal and i died becuase of YOUR bug? Hold tight cause the fun ride called mcoc will be over soon. My point being before removing revives did you fix the game?
A vast majority oppose this change, a handful support it, but if everything plays out that way the player base is going to shrink considerably and then what is that handful left with because if half the player base walks away how much longer do you think the game can really go on? Profits will really take a dive then. As I’ve been keeping up with the topic it’s clear of 1 thing for sure. If all this happens who wins? No one. Those that walked away no longer have the game to play, those that support it no longer have a game to play, and as a developer, there’s no longer a game to support.
With all the input issues, cheaters and the way the AI is performing I still can’t believe Kabam thought it was a good idea and time to drop this news and also would love to know who approved this and thought it was a good idea because obviously they are oblivious to the current state of this game and how upset a large part of the player base has been.
Kabam CEO says, we made sure there were tons of bugs, a sky-net level AI, the most ridiculous node/champ combos, and STILL we didn’t make enough money from EoP!! That’s it!! Somebody better find out why!!! 😂 😂
My post got split for someone reason, but this move should be postponed for awhile. The timing of it all is terrible and at the moment this is going to hurt player base more than help
Are we still allowed to farm units in the arena? Or should we buy them?
There will be a daily event for 40 units. Thanks for understanding our compromise. You’re welcome.
-Kabam
Lets be realistic, they will offer entry keys to refresh the event starting at 40 units and increasing 20% for each key thereafter with a maximum of 7 per week. Smh
If this decision is not going to be reversed, which I don't expect them to, then the timescale for it to be implemented should be changed IMO - Please give people fair warning and at least a few months to grind and get some of the resources they've been intending to get (based on normal state of play) for content that is near impossible without a "stash" i.e. EOP/Abyss at least.
I personally had a 6 month plan to do 1 grind per month and get some of the EOP Carinas challenges knocked out - 2 weeks or so to grind will only allow me to prepare for 1 of these challenges.... if I'm lucky.
These changes will mean this content will largely go unfinished forever more for me as I don't intend to spend $ to clear them and the current way that the overflow, time limit, drop rates for 4 hr crystals etc works means I'm highly unlikely to ever have the resources at any 1 point in time to clear it all.

Is your plan going as expected?
Just had two people announce they are leaving my alliance because of this plan, being the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back. And finding new players has been almost impossible already. So thanks for that.
If you really want to repair this damage, you’ll say “never mind”, and move forward with stuff that makes people want to play the game not rage quit. If you think the biggest problem are people reviving their way thru the Abyss, then you seriously need to adjust your glasses.

Whales: "I've spent over 100k on this game!"
Kabam: "They're revive farming? We're losing money!"
Removing the revive farming is petty and senseless. Kabam would risk losing players of all kinds over this. Makes no sense.
And this is not the only whale in the game. Smh!
Livestream please

For instance my monthly spending + ad hoc spending on events just ended. You created a new F2P player. Doubt I am the last conversion.
With modders running wild and input issues being silenced, Kabam’s solution is to go after the average player.
Some one in the alliance sent me this. But very true of what is going to happen
It’s quite rare but the community stays together when something is not right

Still tho, even a single lane with 3 revives used (which can easily happen) means wasting 3 days worth of revives, which is pretty big slow down
