Titain cystals and feeling screwed

Not liking this. I save all my 6* shards for featured, I enjoy getting new released champions. I don't want the same old champs i have in all different star levels. This featured cystal I probably opened 25 to 30 trying to get spot, and I finally got him( super fun champ).but I also got about 9 gambits and a bunch I dont care about, is what it is r and g. But now I'm gonna have to spend money just for a chance at a new champ, its going to kill my interest in new champs and ruinin the game for me. I understand kabam is a bissness, but hell you guys make so much money off us, why do you have to do us like that, make the featured 20 thousand, but give your players the opportunity to aquire new champs without the price tag. This just makes kabam feel greedy, we have been loyal players for years, myself 6 to 7 years. I feel screwed, I do put money in the game, not as much as whales but more then some, and now the only 7* ill be able to get without spending will be the basic champs I have played with forever. Yes 7* domino will be awsome but ive played her in 4* ,5*,and 6* , new champs keep me playing, it's the best part of the game, right now saving for zemo and shocker, taking this option away and replacing it with pay to win seems like a low blow to the core player base, and kabam should be ashamed. Greedy... oh well the new champs will be put in the basic after 3,4,5 months whatever it is, so it'll be even harder to pull that new champ when it's engulfed by 100 champs I already have and don't want. I wish they would change this, but money talks and poor people can suck it, that's what this titain cystal seems like. Am i wrong please tell me I missed something and I'm wrong.

    You know you’ll get Titan shards from duping 7* champs… right?

    It is new, before I could save up my shards for a better chance at the new champ I wanted. Now I have to open what 40 to 50 7* to get enough for a new titain cystal. While others with more disposable income can just buy it. Obviously that's the name of the game and the whales are why this game is still going, it just sucks and feels like it's going to be so hard to get a new champ as a 7*. Hopefully I'm completely wrong and well get tiatin shards in side events and whatnot. But I didn't see any in the 8.2 rewards. So that makes me think you will most likely have to purchase theses shards or have to do the hardest, take all my revies, units and money, content. Which is basically still buying them.

    That's exactly how it works now. Spenders can buy tons of Cavs get the new champs before everyone else can. The main pro of this change is we no longer have to decide between basics and featured if there were champs in both that we wanted. I consider this change a win. Right now we have no idea the cost of a titan crystal (I believe?). So it could just be like 5k shards maybe more maybe less. Hope this helps you a little bit.
