Jay Axe Champions Predictions

I'll update the thread every month with progress on which champions I get right or wrong and will of course answer any questions. Last year I only got 6 incorrect guesses so hopefully that gives merit on my champions selection.

Predictions updated as Shocker & Sandman join. So happy Sandman has made it to the game and so shocked to see Shocker making my first incorrect guess of the year nonetheless excited for him!

You've done awesome! But I selfishly hope you're wrong for June. They'd be great additions to the game, but I'm hoping for Dani Moonstar and Rictor instead of Forge and Shatterstar (yes I see the irony).

OR a proper Jean Grey with a 2023 style kit. Phoenix is embarrassing.

I can't wait for May Champions. Adam Warlock and High Evolutionary are supposed to be some of the most OP champs right?

Shocker has new mystery synergy titled Homecoming Crasher which has to mean someone who was in Spider-Man Homecoming narrowed it down to 3 (Prowler, Silk, & Tinkerer) I feel like Silk fits the most being the only one of the three that fits the map (science spot surrounded by spidey heroes) and can come this year but if its next year one of of the other two can see coming.

Iirc Falcon had a mystery teammate synergy that wasn't revealed for a very long time (The champion in question is valkerie who came out last year).

Iirc Falcon had a mystery teammate synergy that wasn't revealed for a very long time (The champion in question is valkerie who came out last year).

Yeah the one exception it being 19 months every other synergy since and before has been at most 5 months

Excited for more mystery synergies to work out. I look over the class hexes and did the counting of the number of spots. By the total it looks to cover March - Dec (2023), Jan and February (2024) with one spot that could be a trophy champion or surprise us with a month where 3 champions come to the game. I know its been awhile since they did that, but something I was thinking about.

If we are going by who showed up in Spider-Man: Homecoming, then my bet will be on just the Tinkerer since he did "Crash" Homecoming. I'm just curious to how they will design him or will they use the design from Miles' Spider Man game. Silk was just hinted as a friend of Liz and Prowler was just webbed to a car trunk, letting his ice cream melt

I saw the leaks I think everyone is shocked at moon dragon she’s a cool character but is reported not be be in film interesting if it’s true she could be cosmic or skill and happy about Adam finally cosmic or mystic I’m guessing Moondragon skill and Adam cosmic excited for the official reveal

100% Adam will be cosmic, and the dragon is most likely mysticism. Regarding the fact that she will be in the film, I do not know at all. But the on kind of became a spoiler, because in the 3rd part of the guards someone will die, which means she will be replaced. She 's Drax 's daughter ... the spoiler opened by itself

Adam may be Science instead of Cosmic, but we ll see. I wasn't expecting the High Evolutionary to appear as a playable character at all, he s too Celestial level, and he doesn't have a "normal" past period like Galactus-Galan.

Thor Ragnarok begat Thor (Ragnarok) and Hela when it released, Hulk (Ragnarok) the following February when Black Panther released and they added Killmonger and then Heimdall and Korg in the August of 2018. Only time, so far, that a movie champion has been released when the film was already out.
